also the fact that eddie brought chris to keep buck company while they took care of the house. yes it's about trusting christopher and letting him be in the loop for the difficult moments but it's also about eddie showing buck that even when he doesn't feel like himself, even when he doesn't trust himself, eddie will always trust him to be around christopher. there's nothing buck would do that could stop eddie from letting christopher see him, especially when he needs to be comforted.

In my brain Cliff Marlow is one of the few people who learns about Hollanov and is like yeah that makes complete sense. I just imagine Ilya admitting to him that he's bi and dating Shane Hollander and Cliff is like oh yeah I totally see that. And Ilya is like um what????? Because literally no one else who has found out about them has thought that. And Cliff is just like oh well Hollander seems so restrained I just always assumed he's a total freak behind closed doors and you would definitely be into that and Ilya is just standing there speechless because he's... not wrong.

I hate how the advice for avoiding burnout is all "if you feel like everything is a chore you're making yourself do, you should rest and do things you want to do voluntarily :)" like the fuck you mean want to do. I don't want to cook a nice homemade meal, go outside to spend time in nature, make cutesy fun little crafts, read books, or do any of that shit. Those are also chores I make myself do. Self care is a chore. Either I am up and making myself do shit that I don't want to do because people are making me and I am supposed to, or it's phone in bed. There is no secret third thing.

need someone who cares about hockey more than i do to write a fic where shane is forced to retire before he feels ready and svetlana has gotten frustrated with her MHL job because team management never listens to her (due to the misogyny) so she quits and talks shane into starting a hockey analysis podcast together and it's called something like "hockey with hot people" or "puckbunnies" or "soft hands" (shane does not like this but svetlana understands the importance of branding) and it's 98% Serious Hockey Talk BUT they do have a dedicated segment called "why does ilya rozanov owe me money" wherein guests tell their worst ilya stories and after hearing them out shane and svetlana decide how much money ilya owes the guest. ilya is never invited onto the podcast.

so ur saying. after last week where buck was straight. he ends up roadtripping with his bestfriendcoworkerhusbandguy. and he’s like. eddie!!! let’s NOT take the I-10 (stupid), let’s take the side roads. and eddie’s emotionally pussy whipped so he goes. yeah great idea buck!! and they get super lost and start fighting like a married couple. and so they end up a dinner where they have a little domestic and every single patron and staff member thinks they are gay and married. and then they get HATE CRIMED and CHASED OUT with a GUN because someone starts being homophobic and eddie just won’t stand for it. and then through Circumstances and Reasons buck gets kidnapped by a divorced couple trying to replace their braindead son. which is honestly a really awesome contrived situation for buck buckley who replaced his own dead brother. meanwhile the cops won’t help eddie because they’re HOMOPHOBIC and think eddie KILLED his HUSBAND. but because that literally is his bestfriendcoworkerhusbandguy he starts behaving crazily and goes on the run while injured in order to find #hisbuck. and eddie absolutely fucks these people who kidnapped buck up. and then bucks like “you look like hell” and eddie’s like “you should see the other guy” and buck (#hisbuck) goes “i am the other guy:)” whatever that is supposed to mean??? and also this episode begins and ends with a carry on wayward son needle drop. anyway. remember how buck was straight last week?
