Like Mike from the get go crashes Harvey's office 24/7 to make a fuss that Harvey's not fighting for him or keeps pushing to draw out of Harvey that he cares about him, and demands that he shows him he does, mind you that's his illegal boss since 5 minutes who is betting his whole career over him. Mike is actually demanding and insistent, and that takes thinking you're entitled to something --not to mention at this point Harvey is in control and closed to people around him.

And Harvey, is unequivocally expecting Mike to abide by his set of new rules for Mike's private life -- his whole life. First, yes Trevor is the worst and an anchor, but there is no way they both weren't palpably aware that Trevor was Mike's whole emotional life (apart from grammy) literally his only friend, since forever, the only person he spent time with, remembers him growing up etc, and that Harvey was basically implying that it was time to switch and make him that person instead of Trevor, and it wasn't even framed as a fight but as evident. And, before Mike got fired he was also ready to not date Rachel because Harvey didn't want her to know.

Then while in the car to the casino Mike struggled and put on his bowtie (prolly too distracted talking to Harvey) so it ended up looking awful yet got out of the car with it looking perfect???
