i wonder if the reason jeremy’s trauma is rarely mentioned in his chapters is that just the general idea of his family and what happened to him is so present in his mind that it doesn’t register as something separate from who he is now. sometimes specific things are stated but never the things that the floozies or other teams seem to mention to jean, and i just can’t help but believe that it’s because those parts of his life have enveloped jeremy so much that they just loom over him rather than staring at him directly in the face, an extension of himself in a way.
