Jeremy is nervous after his first argument with Jean, especially when Jean storms out of the apartment and leaves him alone with his thoughts. he immediately starts spiraling, convincing himself that Jean is not coming back this time, that once he has had enough time to think, he will realize what a difficult person Jeremy is and decide that he does not want to stay with him after all. except Jean did not leave because he was angry with him. he left because he needed some time to clear his head and take a walk. and when Jean finally returns, he’s holding a small box with two pieces of cake and says to Jeremy, peeking out from the doorway: “Can we talk about this calmly one more time? I brought cake… Your favorite. Do you want some?” and that is the exact moment Jeremy realizes he made the right choice.
It’s been a stressful day on Twitter and I’m getting a bit tired of how people dismiss the importance of Jeremy, Cat, and Laila in Jean’s life (even when it’s not about shipps).
People always talk as if they, especially Jeremy, were just placeholders or "the best Jean could get since he couldn't be with Kevin and Neil," making them seem replaceable the moment they fulfill their role of healing Jean so he can go back to the people he truly wants.
Those people are his FAMILY, and he said, in his own words and with his own mouth, that he would choose them EVERY TIME.
I’m a big believer in Jean doesn’t drink ever but maybe one night the floozies drag him out to kareoke and he get a little tipsy and somehow ends up on stage. His cheeks are a lil flushed and he sings something insanely full of yearning and so very sexy full of growls and deep vocals and keeps looking at Jeremy, and Jeremy has to fight for his life
