man I’ve been watching the support videos from Awakening and just wow man I remember why I love this game so much literally every character is great in some way. Like they all have flaws, but also all have something great about them like I’m learning things about characters I didn’t even like at first: for example Vaike is dumb and seems shallow, but he’s really good at picking up on ppls emotions and is always blunt abt everything (which is something I tend to appreciate more than most ppl bc I’m pretty blunt too, but def not to his extent like geez man have SOME tact lol), Henry is honestly crazy and incredibly hard to understand but it’s bc he literally grew up with wolves instead of learning how to really communicate with ppl and then was sent off to some terrible wizard school that also apparently had like no proper supervision but he still just really likes to help ppl and that’s probably why he started out on the wrong side bc of circumstance he wanted to help, but was just helping the wrong ppl, Libra man he is so under appreciated like he even underappreciates himself he thinks he’s no good, but honestly every one of his supports I watched made me feel inspired in some way bc he’s always complimenting ppl saying they have a light inside of them that burns brightly or that they have something uniquely good abt them and just damn I’d love to meet him in person and see if he has something nice to say abt me lol and then ofc there’s the stuff like Cherche and Lon’qu’s support where we find out why Lon’qu has his issue with being around women that he’s just worried that if he’s around them that he’ll somehow attract something bad to happen to them like he thinks he’s some sort of jinx around women, and Virion and Tharja’s support which tbh surprised me and tells abt Virion and how he made a promise to himself to help ppl after Walhart took over his country and honestly I could write something abt almost every character but these were just a few that I didn’t really get into my first playthrough, but now am learning to appreciate every character in some way like I just feel like they’re all fairly complex and not just some stupid archetype even if some seem that way on the surface
