in general lately i've been trying to make a conscious effort to be aware of the work of a greater proportion of creatives on the media i like- paying attention to more of the figures involved does often give you some good insight into what's going on, and also gives you the opportunity to follow up on the other work of those creatives. maybe your new favourite work isn't another piece with the same director, but actually something with the same lead cinematographer involved. maybe it's not the singer-songwriter you're chasing but a producer or the woman who was on guitar in that one track, you know?
