⋆𐙚 ̊. have you ever felt unmotivated to shift out of nowhere, not felt connected to your dr, or simply thought that it would be better to try another day? let me reassure you that there’s a reason behind this pattern.

— unmotivated = your ego is purposely making you feel unmotivated to shift, so you just don’t feel like doing it

— doubts = your ego is telling you all the “what ifs” to make you hesitate

— not connected = your ego makes you think being connected to your dr is a feeling. but it’s not. so if you don’t feel connected, you assume you can’t shift. a win for the ego

— fear of change = the fear of knowing you’re going to experience a whole new life is your ego trying to keep you in what’s already familiar here

— overthinking = your ego keeps you stuck in your head, making you analyze every single thing instead of shifting

— indecisive = when you can’t decide where to shift, your ego makes you think you need to have a clear goal in mind instead of just trusting yourself

— maybe not today = your ego gives you reasons to stay and you listen every time

notice how these things usually happens right when you’re about to shift? that’s not random at all. it’s just your ego trying to keep you exactly where you are. and i can only assume it has worked, right? it’s supposed to sound convincing because your ego is meant to keep you in what already feels familiar. but the good thing is that your ego is not you! you don’t have to keep letting it make decisions for you.

“but how do i silence my ego?”

for me, it’s not about silencing it. it’s more about understanding that whenever i feel more drawn to this reality than my dr, is only because it’s my ego’s feelings and not mine. that way, it becomes much easier for me to not listen to what it’s saying. it also becomes easier to reframe those thoughts to something that aligns with my goal instead of continuing to listen to thoughts i don’t even want. it puts me in control instead of my ego!

some realities are going to feel REALER than this one. let that sink in for a second. you believe that this place is as real as it gets? it’s not. life is infinite. so there very well will be realities that you experience where you’ll have access to senses you do not have here. colors that you can’t see here. languages that have no roots in the world you experience here. sounds and sights that you can’t possibly begin to perceive here.

because shifting is infinite you’ll have access to realities that don’t have the same physics as this one. where time doesn’t work the same way. hell, you may experience a reality where it’s normal to just live life “out of order” as we know it to be here. to be able to say, “oh i was 20 yesterday, and 42 today and 12 tomorrow,” and that just be accepted. the norm.

realities where yesterday and tomorrow don’t even exist and instead life is just continuous experience. realities where people aren’t people, and things aren’t things. whole realities exist out there where everything you could ever dream of exists all on one realm.

and adversely, there are realities that won’t feel as “real” as the one we have here because by our metrics of determination, it follows zero rules and yet… it exists. and you can experience it.

so what does this mean for you as a shifter? it means that in order to truly experience the greatness of shifting, you have to stop measuring your experiences by how “real” they feel according to this reality’s logic. we’re infinite!!! there is no universal logic that applies to all realities—we ARE the universe. there are no rules or metrics. do not put a box over infinity. just EXPERIENCE INFINITY!!!

shifting is effortless... but do you know what that really means???‧₊˚♪𝄞࿐₊˚⊹

i saw you roll your eyes just now and almost scroll and i get it. mommy not mad at you. this isn't gonna be your average, "you can shift without doing anything. i shift just by blinking. now move along," post. (they're right, but i'm not even gonna touch on shifting instantly just through intention. yes it's possible, yes people do it. yes you can do it. that's not what this is about.) i actually find methods extremely helpful and will encourage anyone to try a method. not to stringently follow some random method from tiktok that they hate and make themselves uncomfortable by laying immobile for hours. but to play around with the parts of different methods they like to make one that works for them. hrrtshape's anti-method went multi-platinum in my bedroom. i am a method enthusiast

we've essentially been conditioned to think that if something doesn't work, we need to try harder. dedicate hours each day to practicing, failing, trying again, exerting all the energy we have to work toward our goals. feels like everyone's shifting journey is turning into the montage song from south park these days. but like.... why would you need to work harder at.... letting go?? if you're trying to tighten your grip on something to loosen your grip on it, you're stagnant. trying so hard to forget something is the most obnoxious reminder of all. that's why you're stuck. immovable object vs. unstoppable force, basically. hustle culture is so bad it's literally making people think they need to work harder at relaxing.

you need to let go. not in the sense that you need to stop caring about shifting or your dr. stop micromanaging every single part of your method and checking to see if you've shifted. it's literally antithetical to your goal.. which is to 1. detach from your cr, and 2. become aware of your dr. your method's purpose is to guide your awareness away from your cr and to your dr. how can you expect that to happen if you keep bringing your attention back to your cr? the goal is not to perfectly execute a method & follow every step without a single mistake. you're not baking a soufflé, take off that apron. you're aiming for detachment from ego, and that can happen completely on accident (this is coming from the PROFESSIONAL accidental shifter, btw. i've played these games before. (i have literally accidentally shifted to squid game.. that's how serious i am about all this. #laur-gyu mentioned but at what cost????))

some of you seem to think that falling asleep while doing your method is worse than continually stopping your method just to confirm to yourself that it hasn't worked. but what is sleep if not the most effortless detachment? that's why sleep methods exist !! a proven effective way to shift > actively preventing the shift by — get this — shifting your awareness back to your cr. that's what checking is. shifting awareness isn't just being here and then being at hogwarts. it's an inescapable part of daily life. guess what? you're breathing manually now (so sorry). just shifted awareness to your breathing. in like 5 minutes you'll forget, and then you won't be aware of it. and that's how easy detaching is, too. you literally just stop bringing your attention to it, and then you detach. can you see the connection between this and your shifting method? every time you bring your attention back to your breathing, it makes it harder to go back to automatic breathing. you're not gonna do it by.. not manually breathing.. harder? same thing with shifting.

tonight, when you go to sleep, keep aside all the thoughts about shifting for once and just relax! find a suitable position and just relax. you know that feeling when you are so cozy that you feel like almost sinking in the bed? yes that. and then when you are at ease, ask yourself what you should do to shift to your dr right now and just do that! trust yourself and your instincts, make yourself comfortable and just shift however you feel like to. drown out all the shifting and loa posts you've read, you already know what you need at this stage. so, just do that.

you're not moving mountains, stop treating it like that. you're just shifting!

you can shift by doing whatever. you. want.

people telling you otherwise are just speaking from their own limitations and you have no reason to listen to them. you don’t have to agree with certain beliefs if they don’t align with what feels right to you. you don’t have to accept anything people say if it feels limiting or wrong!

always listen to yourself first. your intuition will guide you far better than outside noise ever could. you are allowed to follow what makes sense to you, because:

i asked myself how i’m supposed to wake up in my new reality, because this is honestly starting to get ridiculous. i already know how to imagine myself there, playing out scenarios and seeing it all in my mind. i know how to do all that and i know where i want to shift. but something about the how to actually wake up there kept taking over my mind.

then it randomly clicked when i thought about falling asleep. how would i even describe falling asleep? well, you close your eyes and then it just happens after a while. that’s it.

you literally pretend to be asleep until you are.

so what’s the difference between that and shifting? well, there isn’t one. at least not for me.

when i lay there at night, pretending, imagining that i’m there, that’s literally enough. there’s nothing extra i need to do to make it happen, just like there’s nothing extra i need to do to fall asleep. i pretend it, i become it.

i don’t need to overthink it anymore. i should just let myself assume the state (even with doubts), the same way i assume sleep. i don’t lay there affirming “i’m sleeping, i’m sleeping.” no, i let my mind drift. i let myself relax.

shifting works the same way by letting my awareness drift, instead of forcing it. i feel like once i stop trying to get there and simply just start being, that’s when it will happen. ‹𝟹

Can I really shift by doing nothing except just going to sleep wanting to shift?

I’ve been doing that for a while, but I haven’t shifted. it’s making me worry that I need to do more, but I really don’t want to do more. I just want to be in my DR :(

i woke up in the middle of the night (4am) and couldn't fall back asleep. after 30 min or so i was frustrated and put on some music. i closed my eyes and the song i was listening to reminded me of my dr so bad, so i thought to myself i should just shift rn lowkey. i began to imagine my dr room and i remembered a post i saw on tumblr the day before emphasizing the concept of ignoring the 3d. i started to think about what that really meant and i realized that your reality is genuinely shaped from YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS. i always assumed i was in my cr cause thats what i've known my whole life and what im accustomed to, and that alone is the reason i'm still here. but if you look beyond that– look into the darkness beyond your eyes, you will reach your desired reality. as i laid on my bed, i began to realize i can literally ignore everything in my cr. my desk, ignored. my bed, ignored. my nightstand, ignored. if i don't pay mind to it, it won't exist. things exist only if you pay any attention to them. i felt my dr so immensely and i could almost touch the walls in my dr room.

i believe ignoring your cr and genuinely understanding that your reality is what you make of it, then you can shift.
