losing my mind how did feminists lose the point so goddamn fast. Feminism is not about men. It's not. Why does every feminist post have a cutesy little add-on about how "oh but the patriarchy affects men too", DO YOU THINK I CARE?! The patriarchy was built by men for men to oppress women. Any harm that has on men is a side-effect. and why isn't it enough that it hurts women?? Isn't it bad enough that WOMEN are affected??? It implies that the only reason people would care about dismantling this system is for men's sake which is not the point!! The point is that women deserve the same rights as men, they deserve equal treatment and opportunities!!! And then, on the other sde of feminism there's a crowd of raving morons talking about the "natural signs of a 'fake woman'" and just pointing out average features on (usually POC) women and claiming there's a "natural feminine disadvantage in chess", like DO YOU HEAR YOURSELVES??? "Oh i cant do math, I'm such a girl", "just girly things: not having a job", "becoming financially dependent on my husband", it's just patriarchy. It isn't feminism if you just say it is.
