Hey howdy hey, I'm Arcturus! Your friendly neighborhood horse (or mantis) with evil teeth. If you've stumbled upon my blog, welcome! I post art occasionally, reblog more often than that, and sometimes write.

I don't plan on it, nah. The series was marked as complete as soon as 'something about feelings' was posted. I got what I wanted to get out of my system, which were the two fics exploring somewhat what the little comic I did of Regect and Ptol was, and I don't feel there's really more to add on either of them.

Because Ze to me is just A Guy. I think it's arguably a lot funnier if he is just Some Guy in both Minecraft and IRL. I don't dislike when people make him more than just a guy of course, I quite enjoy the amount of avian Ze I see around both in fic and in art, but drawing that guy with wings once was enough for me lol.

I thiiink I briefly explained this in the notes of fear in comfort. Beds do not respawn a person in the world. Beds are just beds for the sake of my own sanity.

In order for one not to Actually Die, they can set themselves up a respawn anchor. Respawn anchors work about the same as they do in game, minus the blowing up if not in the nether.

It needs to be recharged after a specific amount of uses. Both Avery and Derek have the same anchor, 2 charges between them, though neither has actually died for it to function (yet).

Being killed still leaves the lingering feeling of pain once "respawned". If an injury is bad enough, there's probably like a 50/50 chance it lingers, just not as bad off as it was when the person died.

Avery makes a point to check the respawn anchor near daily because Derek probably wouldn't go out of his way to mention he died. Derek teases him about it because Avery picked up this habit after Derek went and nearly got himself killed via infection and flu.
