One of the biggest challenge for me in (art) middle school was to not focus to the smallest details all the time and see the bigger picture of the form/character what I actually want to draw or paint. 🖌 In this way the whole thing will turn out anatomically more correct, too. Especially when you just want to do quick drawings or paintings, more like sketches and drawings.📔 . One of my favourite medium is watercolour and sometimes (most of the time) I like to use it with bigger gestures, kind of in an experimental way.🎨 . For this painting I used the Awagami bamboo paper for the first time in my life, so it was also an experience in paperwise. ✨This paper is made from bamboo and washi and I have to say, I really like the way, how the watercolour acts with the paper, it's super interesting and really different, than other usual and popular watercolour papers.
