It’s stinking hot here this weekend although today has been almost 10 degrees warmer than yesterday but my wife’s mother rang to ask if I could help her in the garden. I don’t think she knew that my wife and I were having a mistress and maid morning but my wife responded that she could have “the maid” for a few hours and with that, we got in the car and she drove us to her mother’s house where I found what she wanted was someone to cut her back lawn as her regular maintenance guy was on holiday this week. She didn’t ask for me to be in my maid uniform but she was quite amused and as I was nearing the end of the grass cutting, her next door neighbour came out with a basket of washing. she just waved at us and said hi and got on with her own chores but I’m sure she must have been wondering where my mother in law got a maid to cut her grass!

They are so grateful that their Queen has finally stopped whipping them and gladly lick Her Royal Boots to a shine.

And when you visit I like to dress up specially for you. I like the way it makes you look at me. Yes, of course I notice that sort of thing.  I notice it and I see how it makes you feel a little awkward.  I see how you try not to stare.

Well, maybe I’d like you to dress up too. I have a few special things in mind.  I think you’re going to enjoy my game. And in the meantime, if you stare, that’s just fine.

I mean, just looking isn’t so very bad is it? And after all, I’m you’re Auntie. In fact, I’ll tell you a little secret if you like.  When you stare at me it does make me feel quite nice.  It makes me feel all tingly.

I guess you don’t really understand that, but if you like you can look just as much as you want.  But you have to promise Auntie something. You’re going to continue to play my game with me.
