Mrs. Thompson was a single mother with two children - Steven and Stacy were fraternal twins. Stacy was a delight, always cheerful and helpful. Steven was always getting in trouble. I remember my first day of school.. mom holding my hand as the teacher led me around the classroom showing me the different activities for the students.
