I don't work with 3D environments, so I've no idea why someone would recreate the director, camera operator, and boom mic operator within that environment, but it's cute.

The "camera" is a small chest with what looks to be a chalice for a lens and is exactly where the in-game camera is positioned for these shots.

Edit: To be clear, this is in the cutscene staging. This is in the game. When you move the camera around, these dudes are just there.
