I'm rewatching BBC Merlin after 84 years and god, I actually forgot how much they just loved eachother. Like, it was not fun and games it was real. They Loved eachother. For real. From the very beginning. It was visceral and deep and violent and as easy as breathing for them. There's something about you Merlin, I can't quite put my finger on it. He may be an idiot but he's a brave one. Is it my imagination or are you beginning to enjoy yourself? The half cannot truly hate what makes it whole. I want you to swear to me that what you're telling me is true - I believe you. You can trust me. If I don't get the antidote, what happens to him? I can save him. Please Father. He saved my life. I can't stand by and watch him die. You can't stop me. Leave them Arthur, go, save yourself. Follow the light. Just make sure the antidote gets to him, I'm begging you. thinking about dean playing music as he’s cooking and cas comes into the kitchen and dean dances over to him with goofy lil dad-style dance moves and snags cas’ hand and spins him and says, “dance with me, my devastatingly handsome husband.” cas gets that scrunched up look with his eyebrows and says, “I don’t know how to dance, dean,” and dean smiles and slips his hand to the small of cas’ back as he sways them to the beat. “don’t worry angel, I’ve got you.”

thinking about how Cas and Dean would label their relationship. Cas would still call it a Profound Bond. He’d also call Dean his love. His human. Dean would tell people they’re Partners (because cowboys). Cas is his angel. They’re idiots. I love them. Why does the CW hate us???

I like seeing genderswap Destiel where Dean is a butch lesbian who still sleeps around with women, and Cas is fem and wearing typical women’s office attire, but I want to see mostly conventionally feminine bisexual woman Deanna Winchester who sleeps around with men, and considers herself straight. I want her to see fem cas and question her sexuality for a moment before repressing it soooo hard. I want fem sam with the exact same clothing style and haircut as regular sam, and fem dean makes fun of her for “dressing like a lesbian.” Neither of them wear makeup unless they’re pretending to be FBI agents or Dean is trying to get laid at a bar. Fem Cas never EVER wears makeup because she doesn’t understand the importance and hates the sensation of it on her face, even though getting stabbed is barely a concern to her. Dean takes her shopping and she finds certain women’s clothes very confusing. “This material is very flimsy.”

I headcanon that Cas actually does know how to play the harp for some reason, and if tfw ever encounters a situation with a harp Cas will play the most angelic, beautiful melody to have ever graced the earth for like five seconds while Dean is in the room but he'll then refuse to ever talk about it again or say anything, leaving Dean to assume that whatever he just saw was hallucination
