Did anyone else notice the switch up on people’s views of mandatory conscription last week w what happened in Korea. It was so wild to see people saying “well of course the populace fought back so well bc they’re all military trained” and “the soldiers probably also don’t want to be there!!” when for months the same people been talking about how every individual in the Israeli military is actually evil incarnate and bc of mandatory conscription Israeli civilians don’t exist and should all be free targets to murder indiscriminately. Like ok, pick one maybe????
