Maybe it was the way you locked eyes across that room, maybe it was the way you were both alone and struggling, or maybe it was the alcohol—sure you were surrounded by people but really at the end of day, you were simply just there. It was numbing, it hurt; the silence was unbearable. But no, not tonight.

It was nice, someone finally looked at you. Not just a glance but truly looked. It felt nice when he held you and pulled you in, it felt nice when he pinned you down, it felt nice when he kissed you all over, it felt nice when he whispered sweet nothings into your ears, Gojo felt nice.

As months went on, so did your nightly affairs with Gojo. You were falling, quicker than you could catch yourself. You were greedy, you wanted more. Every time you dug your nails into his back it was a silent invitation to stay, you clenched onto him as if he was gonna slip through your fingers. Every touch, every glance, you prayed it meant something deeper. It was pathetic really, trying to make something out of nothing.

You thought you had grown closer, you’d gotten warmer yet his eyes became colder. Gojo was quieter, more curt. From long nights and lazy mornings to quickies—you were confused. His gaze lacked the warmth you loved, Gojo no longer bothered to see to your well being; he stayed no longer than he had to. You were hurt to say the least, were you foolish for reading into your relationship way more than you had you? Were you foolish for thinking you had a chance?

You thought you were fulfilled, that sinking pit in your stomach no longer as present, but no. Your fragile sense of happiness was shattered. You messaged him nonstop, constantly trying to check up on him but he never cared to respond. His visits had grown uncommon now, until now.

“Oh, I’ve lost interest in you, but I’ll indulge you once more.” Gojo whispers cruelly against your skin as he weaves his fingers with yours. Oh it hurts, it hurts so bad. But you can’t find it in you to deny this, once more won’t hurt? right? You tried not to think about it. You’re not sure what caused your tears that night, maybe pleasure, maybe pain, or maybe both. One thing you knew for sure is that you wouldn’t ever forget this night. Under those dim lights, Gojo was hauntingly beautiful. You etched every curve and dip of his face into your memory, you were afraid to close your eyes for a moment too long; afraid he was going to disappear.

Your eyes burnt. You’re not sure for how long you’ve been staring at your door for, every notification you got, you immediately thought was him. A small part of you still believed he would come back. That unbearable silence came back, he wasn’t here. He wasn’t here to make you feel better. He was everything to you, yet were you anything to him? It doesn’t matter now. He fixed you for a bit, what more could you ask for? Your late nights were starting to fade away, you were scared. You didn’t wanna forget. He was slipping away from your grasp. Everything became foggy, Gojo become nothing but a memory.

summary: the relationship between you and kaiser was interesting—it was one sided in a few aspects. till he changed his ways, your relationship was bound to fail. one thing led to another and now it’s all crumbling.

A misunderstanding. A mistake. That’s what this all was—the tears, the anger, the memories. Voices overtop voices, Kaiser’s never known comfort nor love a day in his life. Constantly his past seeps into him leaving behind big, ugly stains. How much can he take till he snaps?

Insecurity or maybe distrust—was that what this was? You couldn’t tell anymore. The lines blurred together. You knew Kaiser couldn’t love like you did. You knew what you were getting into when you chose him. But truly, how were you meant to love him when he himself couldn’t do that? Your relationship was built upon hushed confessions in the dead of night, constant reassurances, and giving up anything for his happiness. It gets tiring, you can only give and give till there’s nothing left.

Kaiser was a mere scared boy at the end of the day—till he learnt how to love himself, he’d never truly be happy. In the beginning, he’d told you one too many times to never tell him you loved him. But you were selfish, you told him you loved him regardless. “Don’t fucking say things you don’t mean” or “Do you think you’ll be the one to change me? I don’t want your disgusting pity” or maybe “You’ll only love me for so long till you’ve grown tired. You’ll leave.” Excuses upon excuses, one day this house of cards is bound to break; that one day is today.

It started off as being brushed off, not too bad right? We all have our days. You had assumed maybe today it was one of those days. By the time the afternoon rolled around Kaiser had only gotten worse. From lashing out or blatantly ignoring you, it was getting on your nerves. What could you have possibly done to piss him off this much? simply put, It was immature—storming off without any warnings or sulking off in a corner. Clearly waiting for Kaiser to speak up wasn’t gonna happen, you had to take matters into your own hands.

You knock on the door of your shared bedroom—Kaiser’s locked himself up ever since lunch. “Micheal? Micheal I’m coming in.” The sight before you was surprising; Kaiser was disheveled to say the least, dark eye bags adorned his face whilst his eyes were glossier than usual. For a moment you two looked at each in silence, his eyes scanned your face as if you were gonna disappear. “What happened?” You softly asked as worry set in. You take another step forward “Do you wanna-“

“Stop.” You halted right away. Kaiser’s voice didn’t carry the usual softness it did instead, it was replaced with the same sharp and gruff tone he used for everyone else.

“What?..” You trailed off your voice barely above a whisper. Your brows furrowed in confusion.

“Don’t take another fucking step near me” Kaiser barked.

“Why? What’d I do wrong?” You inquired voice laced with anger.

“Oh? What’d you do?” He laughed, “Don’t get all innocent on me now.”

You thought about it, what the hell did you do? “I’m not, I swear.” Kaiser glanced at you, “But please do enlighten me.” You spat out.

“Yesterday. Those messages. The cafe. That man. That hug.” Kaiser grumbled as his body stiffened up.

“Micheal? How’d you know about that?” You asked, a beat of silence passes. “Answer me.” You said sternly.

You received an odd message, it was from a cousin you hadn’t seen in ages. “What could he possibly want?” you murmured as you typed up a reply. He had asked to meet with you at a cafe. It was abrupt. No follow up nor greeting. Simply a time and a place. Of course you were weary about this but nonetheless you agreed.

Kaiser was beside you—his eyes peered over your shoulder. “Who are you texting?” He said coolly.

“Oh, just a relative!” You shot back, a warm smile took over your features. Kaiser looked unfazed by your explanation, “why would you respond that quickly? why do you seem so enthusiastic?” he thought to himself. He didn’t like it one bit.

The day comes to meet up with your cousin, your car mysteriously stops working. “Oh my GOD, can you please work!?” you yelled out as you kept on trying to turn on your car. Due to the ruckus you’ve caused, Kaiser finds you.

“Hm? What’s going on [Name]?” Kaiser asked as he leaned against the door of the garage.

“My car stopped working last minute, and I have somewhere to be. Remember that friend I mentioned the other day? Do you think I could borrow yours for now?” You quickly asked.

“I don’t mind driving you.” He replied, “who is she meeting up with that she needs to meet this urgently?” Kaiser thought to himself through gritted teeth.

“Yeah sure! If you don’t mind.” You replied giddily, Kaiser quickly went off to retrieve his keys.

He drops you off at this cafe—yet he doesn’t drive off. He parks somewhere where you can’t see him yet he could see you; Kaiser lurks. He tracks every movement you make like a hawk watching its prey. He notices the person you’re sitting with. A man. He notices the way you seem at ease—like you’ve known him for ages. Just who the fuck is he? Kaiser mumbles.

After what felt like long, agonizing hours you finally wrap up your conversation. You say your goodbyes and suddenly the man leans in. Kaiser bites down on his lip so hard he draws blood, “get away from her.” he kept repeating to himself like a mantra. You wrap your arms around him. This was his final straw.

After hugging your cousin goodbye, it turns out his mom had cancer. He came to let you know in person. You weren’t too close but still, you were worried for his family. You promised to keep in contact. You whipped out your phone to call Kaiser to come pick you up. He’d be here soon. The car ride home was..tense. You weren’t sure why but little did you know Kaiser was fuming.

“You can’t hide from the truth, really can’t just stick to one man, eh?” Kaiser snarled.

“Why the fuck were you watching me?” You lashed out, “Do you really think I’m that unfaithful?” It was always like this. You constantly had to prove yourself to Kaiser but yet never once did you doubt him. “Does it hurt to trust someone for once in your goddamn life?” You yelled. Kaiser quickly broke out into a frown.

“Hm? Is it so bad that a devoted boyfriend check up on his girlfriend? Is it so bad that I was worried?” You were done. He always constantly picked fights over shit that shouldn’t even be fought over. Your tired.

“Watching me from the windows, snooping through my phone, and now you’re disguising your insecurity as worry?” You cried out, you felt your eyes start to burn; tears were threatening to fall. “Kaiser, you’re ridiculous. it’s always fucking like this. I give you everything, I’m utterly devoted to you. But what do I get in return? Nothing. You never bother most days. You only turn to me when you need me but yet I stayed because no one would. But you constantly have to tear me down, you always find something to pick at. You make something out of nothing. I’m done, I’m really tired of this.” By now you were crying. You couldn’t help it. Kaiser simply stood there, you could have sworn you saw shock flicker across his eyes.

“I never told you to stay. Nor go through all that.” Kaiser said. This was it. This was your final nail in the coffin.

“So be it.” you screamed, “so fucking be it.” You grabbed your phone about to reach for the door handle.

“That’s it? You’re not gonna put up a fight?” Kaiser asked.

“No, because you’re not worth fighting for anymore.” With that you left. You walked out—you didn’t even bother to grab your stuff.

Kaiser sat in the deafening silence. Your words still rung in his head. He didn’t need you. You were simply nothing but a long term fling is what he kept telling himself. He couldn’t lie to himself any longer. One afternoon when he came home still expecting you to greet him, you didn’t. You weren’t there. Guilt was cruel but Kaiser was crueler. The weight of what he had lost finally sunk in. Before he knew it he was crying. Everything reminded him of you—it was sickening really. Little did you know he cried himself to sleep that night. He was left with nothing but himself.

Usopp x Reader - drunken confessions

The crew had anchored at a small spring island after weeks at sea—this was a well-deserved break for all of you. Everyone had been pretty exhausted from battles that never seemed to stop. You, Nami, and Robin had decided today was the perfect day for a girls night out. You clasped on a simple necklace and took one final look in the mirror, you smooth out your dress removing any wrinkles.

Nami’s voice interrupted your train of thought.

“[Name]! Hurry up, Robin and I are waiting!” You quickly shuffled to put on your shoes as you make your way out to the deck. The sun had begun to set, leaving behind a trail of embers and crimson. The rest of the crew had already dispersed throughout the town doing their own thing. Nami, Robin, and you decided to eat out at a restaurant.

You guys made your way over to the bar sitting down on a couple of stools. You got your food and eventually started ordering more drinks than you could handle.

“Ya’ know [Name]..” Nami starts, “Do you like anyone on our crew?” She remarks with a teasing smile. You glance over at Robin who also seems to take a keen interest in your conversation.

Caught off guard you immediately scramble out “What? Huh? Why do you ask?”

Shit, could you not be anymore obvious? Robin looks over at you with a knowing smile. “Hm, a little eager to say no don’t you think?” Nami laughs. “I’ve noticed a few ogling eyes recently..” She hiccups. Yikes, this could go really well or go absolutely downhill from here. Should you egg her on with her drunken ramblings? Most times her ramblings are pretty interesting but sometimes she sounds like a man gone mad. A large part of you says yes, you’re quite curious as to who could possibly be looking your way.

“So, who’s the lucky guy?” Robin asks amusingly.

Nami’s eyes light up, “Well..I’ve noticed that Ussop’s been catching more and more glances at ya’ when he thinks ya’ ain’t looking” she says.

Seriously? Was she joking? She is drunk so how reliable of a source is she? You can’t but slightly get excited. Your heart flutters at the thought of Ussop possibly feeling the same way as you! Over the last few years you’ve spent sailing with the Straw Hats, you’ve come to develop feelings for a certain sniper.

“Are you being serious?” You quickly respond your voice laced with excitement and hope.

“I’ve come to notice that too.” Robin adds coolly taking another sip of her drink.

“Soooo, [Name] who do you like?” Nami asks. It takes you a minute to formulate a response, you felt your face burning up at the thought of Ussop, good lord the effect he has on you is insane. Once again you’re being obvious, you already had one foot in your grave but now both your damn feet are in there and you keep on digging.

“Uhmm…” you trailed off thinking for a moment. Hey! what’s the worst that’s gonna happen if you just confess right here right now? Now the alcohol starts answering for you. “Ussop..” You mumbled.

“Hmm? What’d ya’ sayy?” Nami asks with a shit-eating grin knowing she heard you loud and clear. Robin lets out a hearty chuckle. Oh. She’s really gonna make you confess again. You know what? You’ll be even more louder and passionate.

“I, [Name, Last Name] am head over heels for Ussop” You declare with a loud slam of your cup. A bunch of people stare at you but who cares. Nami looks slightly shocked at your sudden wave of confidence.

“Damn [Name], didn’t know you had it you.” Robin replies as she nudges you lovingly.

“So are you gonna make your move?” Nami asks pryingly. You absentmindedly trace the rim of your glass as she continues pestering you.

“Maybe, I’m just not know when or if he really does like me back.” You sigh, shoulders slumping.

“You can’t be serious! Have you just seen how lovesick he looks when you come around?” Nami eagerly replies. “The poor dude is beet red when you slightly look his way!” She boasts.

“Nami does have a point,” Robin adds swirling around her drink. “There’s no way he doesn’t like you. You’ll have to make the first move though.” And with that the conversation eventually moved onto other topics you can’t remember. For the rest of the night you thought about your feelings even deeper, you think about the fleeting glances and how he always seems to be there at the right moment and time.

Before you knew all three of you were tipsy and the night came to a close. The three of you headed back for the Sunny. Robin and Nami already made their way to the girls room but you told them you were gonna stay out on the deck for a tad bit longer. The salty night air was refreshing, it was a grounding force. You were lost in your thoughts until a sound of footsteps scared you. You immediately jump at the sound of creaking floor boards, you turn back to see no other than Ussop.

“Oh hey [Name]! Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you” Ussop spat out, scratching the back of his neck. He walked up to join you near the railing nearly tripping on thin air getting there. The moonlight was illuminating all his features just right, lord did he looking stunning right now. This might just be your chance.

“It’s alright” you reassured him waving a hand in the air. You scooted even closer to the point where your arms were touching, you looked over at Ussop who seemed as if he was about to explode any minute now. It was cute, how even the slighting touch could have him blushing profusely. You run a finger up his arm.

“I’ve been thinking..” you started, “about us. I wanna be more. I don’t think there’s anymore running nor denying brave warrior of the sea.” You purred. You looked over at him, a sweet smile plastered across your face. Ussop let out what could only be described as a squeak.

“WHAT? ME? NO!” He yelped. “WAIT, NO BUT YES, NO, AHEM YES?” Ussop nervously kept on rambling. You turn towards him, you cupped his face and leaned in for a kiss to shut him up. At first he was taken aback, but he immediately returned the kiss back. He awkwardly fiddled around with his hands till they eventually landed on your waist pulling you in. It was an awkward kiss but you wouldn’t ask for anything else. It was standard Ussop fashion that’s what it made it amazing. You pulled back.

“S-So..erm..what now..are we like..dating?” Ussop asked coughing into his arm.

“Mmm, if that’s what you want” You asked teasingly.

“Yes..I’ve been wanting to do for a while now, it was way better than anything I could ever think of.” Ussop said shyly. He was looking everywhere but you. “So..you new around here?” he said clearly flushed.

Only for the summer, only for two months is what you kept telling yourself. Your parents had the great idea of sending you off to live with your grandparents in a town in the middle of nowhere for the summer. According to them you’ve apparently “grown too accustomed to the city” which is nothing short of absurd. But nonetheless what else was there to do this summer? Not much, this was the year that you were finally gonna start university plus most of your friends had moved away for college or were on vacation. You had just gotten off the phone with mom, great. You had around a week till you left, it’d be an agonizingly slow 5-6 hour bus ride. Welp, what's been done has been done, can’t really do much other than endure it. God does give his best battles to his strongest soldiers, right?

You’ve packed your bags, it's the night before you leave. You open up your journal to quickly jot down something.

Entry 1, 6-12-2015

In all actuality, I’m not sure how to feel about spending a summer away. I haven't visited my grandparents in years but I'm glad to be seeing them soon. I don't have much to say at the moment but I'm interested in what this town holds in store for me.

After a tremendously long bus ride down here you finally made it. It's been hours since you last gotten up and it feels like you’ve lost all feeling waist below. Now you have to haul all your stupid luggage over to your grandparents house. You have their address written down on a little scrap piece of paper dug deep somewhere into your pocket, you fumble around until I find it and uncrumple it. A scratchy voice pierces through the silence, “Ya need any help?” He spoke up pointing at your luggage. You whipped your head toward the source, before you stood a scruffy dude with a straw hat. “Yeah..that would be nice” You mumbled,

“What? Ya said something? Quit with the damn mumbling will ya?” He laughed.

“Hey, do you think you could show me the way over to this house?” You say as you push the piece of paper with the address into his face.

“Oh! That's gramps and grams’ house out by the hills! Are you new around here?”

“No not really, I'm here to spend the summer with them.”

“Ohh, I see you're one of ‘em city folk!” He smiled gleefully, extending a hand. “The names Luffy! Yours?”

“Y/N, thanks for the help!” You reached out and shook his hand, Luffy’s grasp was firm, reassuring. He quickly retracted his hand.

“C'mon we don't have all day, these suitcases aint gon’ move themselves now are they?” Luffy exclaimed, and with that he sprang back off into action.

“Wait!” You barely managed to yell out. He was way too damn fast!

“Y/nnn, hurry up will ya?” Luffy groaned, he already had 2 of your suitcases leaving only your backpack and one other suitcase which you grabbed. “Let's go now” You declare with one final squeeze of your suitcase handle. “Just follow me!” Yet again Luffy ran off into the distance kicking up a little dirt cloud in his path.

Lord that really took you out, running up a hill in the scorching sun is unfortunately not for the weak. You tried to catch my breath, you’re out here panting like a damn dog yet Luffy hasn't broken a single sweat. You look up at the deep cobalt house, not much has changed since the last time I was here. The lawn was still precise as ever, the tulips were in full bloom, and the everlasting willow tree near the pond. In a way it was almost comforting; there was at least one constant in my life. Luffy’s voice snapped me out my thoughts,

“What ya standing there for? You gon’ ring that doorbell or what?” Luffy cocked his to the side.

“Oh yeah” You fidgeted with the doorbell for a moment, *ding*, a beat of silence passes, then another, and suddenly you hear a set of footsteps thumping on down. “Y/N!” The door flew open, and you were abruptly enveloped into a warm embrace — the air was knocked out of your pipes, and you were almost swiftly knocked off your feet. “Grandma, can’t breathe here” You barely managed to wheeze out, You tried patting grandma on the shoulder as a means to let go but nothing got through to the lady. It took another final shove to finally be able to breathe again.

“You’ve grown so tall and gorgeous!” Grandma squealed as she pinched your cheek.

“Thanks” You said as you rubbed your stinging cheek.

“Oh, I see you’ve already met Luffy! He's quite the helping hand around here, quite the handy tool!” You looked over at Luffy who seemed quite pleased with the title and praise.

“Heh, it’s all in a day's work!” He murmured as he scratched the nape of his neck. He can't really be all that, now can he? You thought.

“It sure is hot out here, ya’ wanna come on in and get ya’ self a cup of sweet tea?” Grandma asks.

His eyes shot open at the mention of sweet tea, “Of course! Not a thing in the world I’d trade your delicious sweet tea for!” Luffy rejoiced letting himself in. “Go on ahead, I’ll be there in a moment” Grandma nudged you forward and with that you soon followed after Luffy.

The inside of the house was cozy, there was just the right amount of clutter; not a single wall nor shelf was left undecorated. The rugs had all sorts of little intricate designs on them and there were little plants adorning each corner. Just down the entrance was the kitchen where Luffy was situated with a glass in hand.

“You need to try some of this stuff” He spoke up, handing you over a glass full of sweet tea. You accept it without a second thought and gulp it all down.

The tea was delicious — it was hitting all the right spots. The sweet tea seeped down your throat leaving a chill behind. Just then grandma walked into the kitchen, “Grams! Your tea is yummy as always!” Luffy boasted, “Mhm, it's quite refreshing” you added nodding my head in agreement.

There was a wide smile plastered across grandma's face, “Thank ya’, sweethearts”

“I think I should get going now, the suns starting to set” Luffy said with a slight frown, “Thanks for having me!”

“It's nothing sweetheart” Grandma waved him off as he sped out the door, “Be safe and come back soon!” she added. “We should move those suitcases of yours into your room now, shouldnt we?” Grandma asked. “You’ll be staying in your moms old room in the attic by the way, I’m sorry about the mess. I didnt have enough time to clean the place up.” she quickly scrambled out.

“Alright, thanks a lot and don't worry about it.” You replied before grabbing as much luggage as you could in one go upstairs.

The roof is slanted downwards, and the furniture had a thick layer of dust on it. You shove your luggage off into a corner, that's tomorrow's problem, not now. You sat down on the bed. It surprisingly wasn't dusty like just about everything else in this room. You closed the windows, scurried over to your backpack to fetch your journal, and then you retreated back to bed. You turned on the little lamp beside the bed and start writing.

Entry 2, 6-19-2015

Today's my first night in town. I met a goofy dude by the name of Luffy who wears a scruffy little straw hat. He's way too energetic for his own good, wonder where he gets it from. I wonder if I’ll talk to him again, he seems interesting. The heat here is almost unbearable. I don't think I have it in me to go outside for any longer than 10 minutes. I’m looking forward to what tomorrow.

It had been almost a month since Megumi brutally rejected you. Most of you is over him but a small part of you is gnawing away at you because maybe just maybe there was a sliver of a chance that he might have changed his mind. But for the most part, how could you forgive him? You were nothing to him, he hated everything about,  and your “pitiful” attempts at trying to reach out. On the other hand, Yuji was a stable pillar in your life. During your lowest times he was there, Yuji’s always been there for you. Especially once he heard about what happened between you and Megumi. He's been at your every beck and call. Something that had seemed like the end of the world for you, he had managed to turn it into something wholesome.

It had been 3 weeks and 4 days since Megumi rejected you. The feelings he had tried so hard to suppress had started bubbling up again mixed with a side of regret and guilt. How could he explain this and apologize to you? He was a coward. He ran away from his feelings thinking it was something time could easily fix. He was a fool, maybe it wasn't too late to apologize, nothing but wishful thinking. He had seen the way Yuji was getting closer to you. The way you laughed carefree, lingering touches, and happier than with Yuji then you’ve ever been with him. Maybe it really was for the better but he couldn’t help but fume with jealousy. There was always a pit in the bottom of Megumi's stomach telling him to interfere between you and Yuji but he never did. What could he do? He's already been an asshole enough towards you, and now he had the audacity to pry you away from your own friend? Yeah no. Megumi's sister had been egging him on to go apologize to you, yet he never budged. He didn't believe he would undo what's been done. But yet again, he doesn't even wanna ask for forgiveness, he just wants to let you know he fucked up. He makes up his mind, he’ll apologize.

Megumi had the guts to text you to meet him after all he's done and said to you, Yuji told you not to go but you had the heart to hear him out. It was a warm winter day. You leaned against a tree waiting for him. You heard a familiar voice cough behind you. Ah, you haven't seen him in a bit.

a/n: first fic woohoo!! Here goes nothing, I've finally decided to dive into writing. Not the best but we all start somewhere </3 also for a friend 😛

Before you knew it, it was already February 14th. This might finally be the blooming of a potential relationship. You and Megumi had known each for quite a few years, ever since you joined Jujutsu High you’ve always had an eye on him. Over the past year though you’ve been working and pouring copious amounts of effort into your so called “friendship”. Most times he’d simply dismiss your presence or tell you to leave him alone. Into the late hours of the night you would find Megumi cooped up in what seemed like endless piles of work in the library. You’d always make sure to maybe bring him his favorite snack or a cup of tea thinking maybe it would help! And every time you did you’d be met with the same reactions. Whether it be a scoff or him telling you he wasn't a child needing reminders or a helping hand. It hurt a bit, but hey! Maybe he was warming up or shy! Many of your friends warned you and told you how one-sided it was and how gruesome it was watching your efforts. “y/n, you've really gotta stop trying can't you see? Your efforts aren't getting you anywhere.” Your friend stated. You simply hummed in acknowledgement, no matter what anyone said it wouldn't stop you! “Yeah y/ns she's got a point ya know, it's been ages. Megumis still the same stoic, gloomy, pushover he's always been.” Another friend chimes in. “Maybe I’ll take your pleas into consideration, anyways i’m gonna get going now.” You quickly managed to blurt out. Today was the day, today you were gonna confess to Megumi. You went back to your dorm, you changed into a more suitable outfit and grabbed the letter and chocolate. You had messaged him earlier to meet you in the courtyard, he left you on read. You smoothed out your clothes while waiting for him, a part of you didnt even think he would show up. But to your surprise he did. “What do you want?” Megumi mumbled, maybe if you had listened close enough you would notice the hint of annoyance in his voice. You swallowed hard, your fingers fidgeting with the hem of your shirt. “I…uhm..” Suddenly doubt and worry had consumed you, all these possible what ifs clouded your mind. “You what? I don't have all day.” He spat out harshly. With one final gulp you told yourself, what's the worst that's gonna happen? “I’ve always had an eye on you ever since the day I joined Jujutsu High. My feelings now tresend that of a friend. Maybe just maybe you do feel the same way.” You talked as quickly as you could, it was a mumble jumble of words and feelings. You quickly shove both the letter and the chocolates in front of you hoping he’d accept them. Silence. You could feel your heart pounding out of your chest. “What would ever make you think I would like you?” Megumi growled. You felt your heart break into a million different pieces. “All those attempts at trying to get closer only made me detest you more. I can't stand it when you're near. Everything about you is irritating. It's almost pitiful the way you follow me around like a lost puppy.” There was a prominent scowl on his face. Your eyes were stinging, you tried your best not to cry. “Oh. I see.” it comes out as a whisper getting carried along with the wind. Couldn't he have been kinder about it? “I dont need your love nor pity y/n.” Megumi slapped away the chocolates and letter in front of him. That was your final straw, first one droplet then the next before you knew your tears began to stream down. Just as you started crying so did the sky, it was as if they had shared your pain too.  “Don't try to befriend me again y/n” And with that it was the last thing he said before he walked off. You stood there crying alongside the rain. Perhaps this was how it was meant to be.
