Khorsyn strikes me as a very polite fella. The kind of guy who obeys the sidewalk rule (though is kind of unaware of what it is), insists on opening doors for you, just cliche stuff, really.

I do think he wouldn't exactly be the best at showing affection openly. given the fact that he is a commander, he is more well versed in the art of combat rather than the language of romance. that does not mean he doesn't try, however.

that being said, it's more about little things with him. quiet moments after combat, finding respite in a quiet corner on dijiang. i feel like he's kind of a gift giver, small things, tokens of his travels and victories. he wants you to keep something of him when he cannot be present all the time.

when he can stay by your side, even for a day or two, it is often spent quietly, tranquil moments in his arms, the feeling of his chest rising and falling, the sound of his heartbeat. it is not often he gets such breaks, but he cherishes them, all the same.

pda barely exists to him. not out of stubbornness or embarrassment, but because he is far more used to camaraderie rather than intimacy. he wants to make the distinction between you and his guards, and yet, he has a harder time than he expected with it.

he does make attempts, of course. a hand on the small of your back while you two walk, his hand brushing yours occasionally, perhaps even linking pinkies, and every once in a while, he will tuck a strand of hair behind your ear, and trail the backs of his fingers down your cheek if he is feeling particularly romantic.

if he is gone far longer than he intends, then expect letters every month. sometimes twice a month if he finds himself yearning particularly hard. he wants you to know that he is okay, but more over, there is something he loves about writing to you, specifically. he barely details his missions, but rather, includes the boring, mundane aspects of his days, his weeks. it is comforting to him. when you write back, he is always overjoyed. he loves to hear from you, too. to hear about all the boring rabble of your life, who you've met while he was gone, there's something in it that puts him at peace. he keeps a folder of all your letters by his bunk, your handwriting a reminder of why he must keep pushing forward.

over all, Khorsyn's love is quiet but meaningful. even when he is doing things out of his comfort zone, he doesn't hesitate. he is methodical, and even with how inexperienced he may be with intimacy, he makes sure you understand just how much you mean to him. he is far better with words than actions when it comes to you.

wulfgard

on the surface, people may think wulfgard is a stubborn, touchless lover who probably got dragged into a relationship. those who are closer to him would understand that he's actually just... shy. and you understand that he is just a lovestruck puppy who is afraid of messing things up.

he worries too much. far too much. two things specifically eat at him; one, he is an LB. two, he is infected. The Pack may be seen in a better light than most Land Breakers, yet the designation still remains. not a lot of people view them in a positive light, after all. And while the view on the infected and oripathy has changed, there is still always concerns that linger. even with a more accessible cure, he still wonders what will happen if he gets you sick as well?

you, however, could care less. he shies away from touch when you reach out to him, yet you can always catch a glimmer of want in his eyes. so, you persist. you hold him as often as you can, a hug here, a hug there. you reach for his hand when you two walk, and you always, always squeeze.

he accepts it, but he is always flustered about it. he closes his eyes, sighs, and blushes. but he never says anything about it, he never refuses. in fact, he steps a little closer, he holds you tightly, he squeezes your hand back, and he melts into you. sometimes, if you peak over his shoulder, you can catch his tail wagging. but, you never say anything.

in the rare moments you find alone with him, he is just a little more confident in touching you. he is warm, and you are unsure if it is because of his lupo heritage, his oripathy, or if he is simply flustered. either or, he quite likes to cuddle. as long as you don't call it that. the word feels childish to him, but the action means so much more than you know.

he likes keeping you close, of course. it means he can keep you safe. if you are out on Talos-II, he only trusts himself to keep you safe. he will refuse anyone else who offers to stand with you. it must be him. it's not just about protecting you, however. it's also about showing you around. he wants to share his favorite places with you, away from all of endfield's tech and the machinery. one day, he thinks, he will show you the wildlands proper.

not just that, the hunt itself means a lot to him. if possible, he'd like you to hunt with him. he believes it is more meaningful to catch something together rather than to simply hand you something from his travels (though, he still loves giving you gifts. he is always thinking of you...)

Catello wants to be the best for you, he does. sometimes, he lets that get in his way, and he forgets the quiet moments. but you are there to ground him. to hold him close and never let go, to soothe his frayed nerves, and to remind him that a moment of respite is not detrimental. He always finds himself softening in your arms, winding down, allowing himself to breathe.
