Its genuinely insane to me how white fandom will bend over backwards to excuse, justify or deny racism and the frustrations of fans of color, like they'll find a handful of poc that don't have an issue with whatever is going on and they'll be validated enough to continue thinking its not a problem, they'll accept apologies not meant for them and get upset when others dont, they'll publicly announce how they forgive white creators like their making a stand against something, and blanket all criticism and fans of color speaking up as hate, bullying, harssment and bad faith. I thought fandom was supposed to be fun and inclusive, i thought we were supposed to be critical of what we consumed? How come fans of color can never truly escape from reality in fandom and media?

Kinda elaborating on my previous post, beetle woman is like. The #1 "Dawn when she was an idol" fan. All the obsessed fan hallmarks like "gets mad when people have negative opinions on her" and "is extremely resistant to the idea of her leaving the music industry". Ofc Beetle would learn her lesson and give Dawn her space to do what she wants and they can be friends.

Basically Beetle is a 4kids version of Mr Me-mania

For the record a png of beetle would just be hovering over her at all times.
