1. Background

As you know, Pizza Cruise's background is Venice. Noir Tower is America. Wintry Tower is Finland. And Pizza Atelier is... Toscana + Switzerland.

The local food in the province are raspberries and blueberries. The villagers pick the berries and make various ingredients or food. Like berry jam or berry pie.

Artisans can't only make crafts, but also fix them. Just like creators, and doctors at the same time.

When alive crafts get broken, they always come to their owners or experts first. They can fix, without the cost...

4. Prosthetic's flaw

Peppino can walk with his prosthetic leg, only when it's nothing wrong. He has to go with his cane when he has a difficulty to walk on the harsh path. But the problem is... the weather.

On the rainy day or snowy day. He can't hold anything because he holds an umbrella and his cane with his both hands. The only one he has to do is walking carefully...

However, he often can't move forward when his prosthetic leg was stuck in the mud or snow, and slipped from his leg. Then when he falls over, he can't walk anymore. Only one thing he needs is help...

Thankfully, Doise and Peddito are the guards of the village, so they can found Peppino in distress.(Peddito is alive here! Yes!) Although Doise is a repairman and Peddito is a baker, they always have minds to protect the village after the war. Because they were veterans.

Anyway, Peppino was so thankful that they saved him. And he fixed his prosthetic to fix his leg firmly...

5. Maurice

Meanwhile, Maurice is still making furniture alone. He doesn't have some time to invite the village, but he writes and sends the letter to Peppino living far away.

Peppino still remembers his brother, who made the prosthetic leg to walk after he lost his leg during the war. Also Peppino writes and sends his letter to Maurice. And he feels relieved when he gets the letter and reads... He's considering to meet his brother...

6. Bicycle

He can't run faster because of his disability and the hard prosthetic, but he can ride a bicycle! He got used to use a bike after he frequently used it to go errands for Maurice in the past. Thanks to it, he still rides his bicycle without any problem! Of course, he always wins on the bike competition!

this entire chapter the thematic element of kris being denied access to romance felt so fucking potent. susie kills their chance with pink, their childhood crush and new crush are dating eachother and ignoring them, ffs even berdly was pushed away by susie. blue's monologue about love gets cut off when it reaches kris. why is kris being denied love repeatedly? why is love such a significant thing that they seek (see: they're constantly flirting) but can never have.
