Aethos, also called aethosexuals, are people who are attracted to thoughtforms and/or incorporeal (or otherwise without a solid form) beings. Another definition of this attraction is one who loves thoughtforms, or an OWLT (Owlet). Aethos are not on the asexual or objectum spectrum, but instead into the concept of "innermority" - relationships specifically between/with thoughtforms.
Common targets of attraction include djinn, soulbonds, egos, thoughtforms, concepts, daemons, headmates/alters, or sapient, involuntary thoughts. Does not inherently include external beings such as spirits, ghosts, fictional characters, or objects. For example, an aetho would not find a ghost attractive but would find the concept of a color attractive instead.
The word aetho comes from aether, and is used by aethos to communicate their love for beings fundementally made from materials of the universe that cannot create a living, natal body, such as air or celestial matter. Owlets are the bears of the aetho community, usually those who are mediums or vessels for a thoughtform/being to inhabit, either containing them as part of the internal self or sharing senses over a long period of time, who take the more passive role.
A person who is in a relationship with a thoughtform would be the luminife of the thoughtform, especially if they are materially bonded by marriage, while the thoughtform would be the wispaife. Also, if someone happens to fall in love with a thoughtform and develop a crush, that crush would be called a bright-eye ("my bright-eyes glow for you, and only you," or "i have the brightest-eyes for you.")
The flag represents the entirety of innermority. The flag consists of four horizontal shapes, with dark purple on top, solid purple, a tan hued purple, and a tan hued pink. The symbol is made of one black circle, one white moon crescent, and two black and white squiggly lines.
