“Golly Korra, if Republic City is for everyone, then why do the Air Nomads get an entire island just for them?”

“Hey Korra I’ve been thinking, how come we have a country for Firebenders, two countries for Waterbenders, and four countries for Air Nomads, but no country that’s just for Earthbenders?  That doesn’t seem fair, especially after all they’ve been through…well, it’s like kicking someone when they’re down, don’tcha think?”

“Korra, don’t you think it’s wrong to keep the spirit portal open?  I mean, there were so many houses there and now all those people have nowhere to live.  The spirits don’t even like humans that much and it says here the first Avatar closed the portal to keep the two worlds from fighting.  Korra, you’re supposed to protect your people, but it seems like you’re making them poor and vulnerable while having to live side by side with alien and hostile beings just so you can go on exotic dates with your girlfriend.”
