10... 9... 8...
“Bakugou, don’t!”
7... 6...
Kirishima felt his hands pulled and his lips collided with Bakugou’s.
5... 4...
“I love you.”
“Please Bakugou, don’t do this!”
Kirishima desperate look was registered in Bakugou’s mind. Bakugou hated that it might be the last thing he saw, but he wanted to protect his lover more than anything else.
3... 2...
Bakugou pushed Kirishima as hard as he could, catching Kirishima off guard and blasting him away from the scene.
“BAKUGOU!!!”

It’s been a year.
Kirishima went into the hospital room, and saw the peaceful expression of Bakugou’s, as if he’s just sleeping.
“Hey Bakugou.”
Kirishima pulled the chair near to the bed and stared down at Bakugou’s face.
“Look at you. You’re so calm and peaceful now. Makes me miss the rowdy you.” Kirishima laughed a little, but his voice got choked up before he could end the sentence.
“You know, it’s so peaceful now. There’s hardly any crimes. Midoriya even got married lately, how crazy is that?”
A tear fell.
“The world is beautiful. And it’s only missing you.”
More tears fell.
“So wake up, Bakugou.”
Kirishima buried his face in one hand while the other grabbed Bakugou’s hand, squeezing as tightly as he can.
“Wake up, Bakugou.”
“Please.”
—————
Another half a year passed. Spring changed to Authmn, and the weather became cold. And Kirishima felt his heart getting heavy, too.
But once again he stepped into the hospital room, wearing a smile on his face.
Once again, he brought flowers and set them on the side of Bakugou’s bed.
Once again, he greeted Bakugou’s teary-eyes parents as he pulled a chair and sat right beside the bed, gazing down on Bakugou’s face.
... “You don’t have to come everyday, you know.” Bakugou’s mum teary-eyes met Kirishima’s. “He’s been like this Everyday, and honestly, our hopes are —”
“No, I want to.” Kirishima didn’t like hearing the end of that sentence. He knew what they were going to say, and he didn’t like it at all. “I have to come. I want to see him when he wakes up. And it’s greedy of me, but I want to be the first he sees WHEN he wakes up.” Kirishima tightened his grip around Bakugou’s hand, his gaze steady and unfliching.
“So please, I know this is greedy and may cause a lot of inconvenience...” he stood and bowed deeply till his head almost hit his knees, “but please let me visit him everyday.”
After his parents left, Kirishima settled down and started talking to Bakugou again. His conversations were trivial, about anything and everything that happened, and when he spoke about the future, he found himself thinking about a future with Bakugou after he awakens.
“You know, I’ve been dreaming about this future. That you'll wake up in the coolest way ever, and you'll be out of the hospital on the same day.”
Kirishima laughed, gazing down at the man he love, sleeping peacefully.
“We’ll get married and everything, and invite everyone from our class. Our family will be there too.”
Kirishima squeezed Bakugou’s hand tightly, tears threatening to fall again.
“Hey, is it greedy of me to think this? That you’ll wake up, and we’ll have a future together?”
Kirishima couldn’t control it now. Tears were running down his cheeks like a waterfall, and he got so chocked up he couldn’t say anything for a minute.
“Is this greedy of me, Bakugou?”
—————
Bakugou didn’t know how much time had past.
A few hours? Days? Weeks? Months?
But he couldn’t really move, and perhaps he didn’t want to move. Part of him wanted to stay at this space, whatever this place is, leaning against the wall with his knees up. But another part of him is nagging at him to move, to get out of this place.
But where?
“Bakugou.”
From time to time, there’ll be a voice calling out to him.
Slowly, he recognised it and remembered.
And that gave him the motivation to wake up.
—————
So another day, Kirishima came again. And said the same things.
“You know, I keep having these imaginations.” Kirishima whispered, closing his eyes as he held Bakugou’s hand.
“That you’ll wake up in the coolest day ever, and you’ll be out of the hospital on the same day.”
“We’ll get married and everything. We’ll invite everyone in the class, our family will be there too.”
“Then we’ll get a house and adopt two kids… it’ll be great.”
“If only… you would wake up.”
Of course, no response. Or so Kirishima thought.
A soft squeeze of hand, and a “why don’t we do it?” Haggled voice came. Kirishima almost jumped out of his seat, and opened his eyes to see Bakugou awake and staring at him.
“BAKUGOU?!” He screamed. The nurse nearby jumped and immediately ran to get the doctor. He couldn’t believe his eyes. After more than a year, Bakugou was awake and staring right at him.
“Hey.” Bakugou looked very weak and tired, but he smiled his usual one as he stared straight at Kirishima.
“When I get out of here….”
“Let’s get married.”
