Pavla is an average guildless human courier on Ravnica - she’s not a walker and probably never will be, since she also doesn’t have magic (which means that when she meets someone more unusually gifted, she’s fascinated.) Instead of magical talent, she’s athletic - she can run faster than just about anyone and climb any building around, and loves to run rooftops rather than streets. She’ll drop down to ground level to pick up street food though, esp. anything involving pastry.

She’s also incredibly nosy and has the knack of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, which leads her into trouble more often than not…

Got reminded that I wrote this entire Ravnica based fic when someone commented on it this week. You know what, it’s still a great story and holds up after 6 years as my love letter to Ravnica and all its denizens.
