the funniest thing men do is when you talk about how men behave badly, some man goes “who hurt you 😂” like they think they’re making some kind of point. Imagine if you were like “people shouldn’t drive drunk” and someone was like “ohhhh what did a drunk driver kill your family or something??? loser”

my singing voice is good for showers and mornings in the kitchen and drunken nights and lullabies for babies who need sleep and im okay with this

i think it’s silly to be ashamed of your art because it’s not in a museum and of your voice because it’s not selling out stadiums. there will always be people who enjoy and appreciate what you can do.

Idk why but this hit me really hard and I’ve been staring at it for a couple minutes.

these cats are displaying remarkable theory of mind skills by not only registering that the humans can perceive them but actively trying to manipulate that perception! that requires one to be aware that other individuals have complicated interior thoughts of their own, to know that those thoughts are not always based on truth, and to quickly decide on the best possible “lie” for the situation. this is why I despise animal intelligence tasks based on obedience— some of the most clever moments stem from intelligent disobedience.

see my problem is if i “listen to my body” it literally only wants to lie down and take naps, all the time
