i love the scene before training where haymitch calls maysilee “the meanest girl in town” and wyatt “the guy who sets the odds so scum can place bets on dead kids” and yet they immediately ally with one another afterwards. genuinely hilarious like i love them…. “i stand with and accept my cancelled wife” core
maysilee fluffing wyatt’s hair and telling him to show off his muscles so he looks tougher is unironically one of the cutest scenes ever to me like i’m gonna roll over and die if it’s not in the movie. It’s serious to me
maysilee steals all of wyatt’s clothes, even his silly paperboy hats, he still politely asks for them back as if they’re not his 😭
for the most part i think they have a great height difference, but the idea of maysilee being taller than him in heels is so good (you can take this as either short!wyatt or tall!maysilee)
wyatt would not try and convince maysilee to cut down on her meanness if they were together. he loves that about her <3
speaking of what they love about the other, maysilee loves how passionate he is about his interests. whether that be his consistent odds-fixation or something he’s recently gotten into, she’s always down to just listen to him talk
