I remember my parents and their friends and family always taking opportunities to say homophobic stuff, especially when schools teaching about the LGBTQ was brought up. My parents would make me skip school on IDOHOBIT day and if the school was doing an event for pride month.

But there were days when my class taught about it, and it gave me a jumping point for when I eventually did my own research.

The Kushala call out post (lol)

Kushala in wilds might be fine, good even. He was pretty alright in Rise. But honestly, when I saw Kushala in the wilds expansion trailer, which was hype until then, all i could feel was "ew" cuz his incarnation in World was so, SO horrendously bad.

(And this isn't even including him spending close to no time on the ground, denying huge areas of the map, his arena basically built to make the tornados as annoying as possible)

The fact that he has a gimmick that you can only deal with by getting his set is so.... asinine. Its also doubly ridiculous cuz it also only ends up being super effective against him lol. I love monster hunter, which i hope is obvious by how much ive drawn and talked about this game but dear lord i hate this damn dragon.

For those who don't know: Ikumi Nakamura is the woman who was senior artist on Bayonetta, and designed the titular character along with Hideki Kamiya. Their greatest moment of bonding was over their insistence that Bayonetta keep her glasses on at all times. Nakamura cannot go to horny jail. She is the warden.

Ideally I'd make a post like "It is pride month! Yay! :D" ...But it is getting increasingly hard to exist as a trans person, let alone celebrate it.

We should still celebrate it. That celebration doesn't need to be loud. It doesn't need to be noticed by anyone except yourself.

They want us to feel shame at who we are. They want others to fear what we are. Pride in yourself is the antithesis of shame. So please, now more than ever, make sure you celebrate pride. Celebrate you.
