What interests me about Rouxls is how he's sort of forgotten by most people. Not only in the fandom, but in the game too. He isn't seen as a threat and it just seems like everyone hates or dislikes him (except one of Clovers heads ig) but it also ties with his Light World object being the rule card of a card deck. Most people tend to disregard it entirely (even in the new fangamer merch with the playing cards, Rouxls' card literally states: "discard before play")

Rouxls seems to have no use to Lightners. I feel the reason he wants to be second in command so badly is because the usefullness of the rule card is entirely dependent on the card deck, and lo and behold, the card deck in deltarune is incomplete. (No queens, no red joker, the rest of the clubs and spades are gone...)

If he had no use with the full card deck, then he certainly has no use with an incomplete one. So, the only way a Darkner like him can fulfill his purpose of serving, is being second to command to a higher authority. All so he can be useful and have a higher status rather than a useless card that gets thrown out.

Its even crazier when we add in his revealed capabilities from Chapter 3. It was confirmed that Rouxls can change the rules of a battle, but what does he do? The dumbest possible decisions with it of course.

He doesn't seem to even realize the power he has, and only sees worth in himself when he has allies with him (e.g Lanino and Elnina) so when he gets left alone, he feels powerless again.
