hate how appealing plur1bus is. I know the point is that it’s bad and a dystopia and no one has free will and humanity will die out if it’s not resolved but I can’t help thinking about if suddenly everyone on earth wanted to personally appease me in a hive mind and like, idk, the handful of immune people are underutilizing this opportunity tbh. like the hive’s will is already subsumed and they are already being put to tasks they would not have chosen otherwise so like yes it’s unethical but if you leave the hive mind to their own devices they will use all their resources on making a giant signal to send to space, so actually redirecting their energy towards my own goals is for the greater good. oh nooo, it wasn’t my CHOICE to enthrall the human race but it happened and now I HAVE to give them tasks!!! I HAVE to ask them to help me build a robust decentralized but interconnecting global energy and information infrastructure. and also make some video games. since all of humanity suddenly has perfect recall of all the knowledge of everyone and immense efficiency and zero conception property but are putting themselves on the brink of extinction I AM FORCED to request they make a sustainable and secure media/art/history/technology/etc archive with everything ever available and credited and cross-reference-able. we have NO CHOICE but to do incredibly useful and doable things that we are not currently doing just because we can’t cooperate. ooooooh, what an awful fate that has befallen me, one of the only immune humans on a planet of peaceful appeasing ultra-intelligent hive people who will do almost anything I ask of them. I guess I am forced to request clean water accessible everywhere people lived! and also forced to get them to give me all the behind-the-scenes information about the canceled Sailor Moon ice show. I was made to accept assistance and care from all of humanity and made to ask for anything and everything I could want. what a nightmare!!!

”those are terrible unrealistic chest compressions” yes, I agree, and it does hurt the suspension of disbelief to watch bad CPR in shows, but the person they are doing compressions on is an alive and healthy actor. and doing good correct chest compressions would needlessly break that nice actor’s ribs. so I’m not going to judge them too harshly for it.

woke up and found out the mini fridge I keep upstairs died so we ordered a new one that is both nicer and bigger and I am genuinely excited about it so overall this might end up being a good thing but right now, right in this moment, I need fresh ice and cold water. that is all the way downstairs. and the new fridge won’t be here until Wednesday

makes me so sad that whatever is going on with the production hell of New New Who is so slapdash and unsupported that they literally can’t lure any actors to the role. that show should’ve never stopped being a super low budget publicly funded BBC show. bring back bubble wrap monsters and kill Sony
