A/N: My first piece of writing for Aegon II, definitely took me a bit to get some idea of how to write him in my own style without making him a complete copy of another Targaryen (still not sure i completely accomplished that! I personally feel like GRRM gave so much information about pre-asoiaf Targs while also not giving an accurate depiction of a lot of them - so they come off like others, but maybe that’s just a personal writing short coming of mine lol). Did my best to show a side of him that was both confident in his goal to reign over Westeros while not making him a complete hero or villain. He’s definitely a character I need more practice writing for and that maybe I need to do a sort of character study/development for! Anyways, I hope you all enjoy never the less!

Micah watched as Arthur dismounted and stomped through camp the main house. He knew Arthur had been to see that damn Mary woman again. Whatever she had said to him, had obviously upset and frustrated him.
Micah sighed, the last thing he wanted to do was piss Arthur off, but he wanted the younger man to know he was there for him.
Putting away his guns and cloth, the blonde decided to check on his lover. As he climbed the stairs of the abandoned house, panic started to set in; what if Arthur had decided to try again with Mary? What if he was upset because he didn’t know how to tell Micah that it was over? He shook his head; it wasn’t time for doubting; it was time for action.
He knocked on the door gently, but there was no answer, so he pushed the door open slowly and poked his head into the room.
“Cowpoke?”
Arthur didn’t reply, just held his arms out and did a grabby hand gesture. Micah entered the room fully and closed the door behind him. He took his hat off, laying it on a crate at the foot of the bed and shed his leather coat before crawling onto the cot. He shifted to the other side of Arthur and propped himself against the wall, pulling the burly cowboy into his arms. He felt Arthur shift as an arm wound around his torso. Arthur buried his face in Micah’s neck, enough for Micah to feel the tears falling from Arthur’s eyes.
“Shhh, it’s OK.” Micah whispered as he ran his hand up and down his lover’s back and kissed his forehead. “You wanna talk about it?”
Arthur sniffled before nodding. He wiped the tears from his eyes and shifted his face downward and fiddling with the buttons on Micah’s shirt.
“She wanted me to help her. Again.” He muttered. “I’m a damn fool, Micah. Why can’t I let her go?” He sniffed. “Every time she calls, I go runnin’. I hate myself for it.”
“You’re a good man, that’s why.” Micah replied, squeezing Arthur to him. “Did you help her?”
“No.” Arthur shook his head. “It was her ‘Daddy’ of all people.” He scoffed. “I’m a bigger fool than even I thought. That’s it now, Micah, I ain’t goin’ to her again. She can sort her own mess out.”
Micah ran his fingers through Arthur’s hair, kissing his head again. Part of him wished he could just kill Mary, to save Arthur all this heartache, but he knew it would cause more heartache for the man. All he wanted to do right now was take away Arthur’s pain, his self-doubt, and his hatred for himself. He knew Arthur still had feelings for Mary, it wasn’t easy for the man to just stop loving someone. Arthur had told Micah everything when the first letter had arrived, and as much as he hated the idea, he knew that Arthur had to go to her. He’d helped Mary’s little brother, Jamie, who had been sucked into some religious cult. Arthur had saved him, if for no other reason than the fact he liked the boy. Mary, naturally, was extremely grateful, but didn’t get in touch again until she needed Arthur’s help. This time apparently for her precious Daddy.
Micah was glad Arthur had turned her down, not through jealousy, but because it now meant Arthur could grieve for the time they’d had. Micah would be there for Arthur no matter what, that much he knew, but he found it tough not to feel a little jealous of Arthur’s feelings for the woman.
“I’m here, Cowpoke. I ain’t goin’ nowhere, not even if you make me, OK?”
When Arthur looked at him, all his fears about Mary vanished. He could see the pain in the younger man’s eyes, but more than that, he could see the love and loyalty he had for their relationship. When Arthur reached up to kiss him, Micah felt like he was on top of the world. He tangled his hands in Arthur’s hair, bringing him closer as the kiss deepened.
It was Micah who broke the kiss eventually, shifting down the bed and rolling Arthur to face away from him before pulling him close once again.
“I’ll be the big spoon tonight, Cowpoke. Get some sleep.” Micah’s arm wrapped around Arthur’s waist, and he smiled as Arthur held his hand, pulling them closer together. Micah kissed the nape of Arthur’s neck as they settled.

How would the boys comfort you if your horse got seriously hurt? I get very attached to my horses so you can imagine how I’m like when they get hurt in the slightest lol
Arthur
Arthur gets very attached to his horses too. He thinks it’s normal to be fond of them, you spend so much time with them so of course you’re going to grow to love them.
When your horse gets injured, Arthur rummages around in his satchel before pulling out some horse medicine for you to use.
If you want to stay out by the horses during the night to make sure you horse is ok then Arthur will come out and join you, bringing out a few blankets too.
Charles
Charles knows that unfortunately horses getting injured is common, especially in this ‘line of work’. If the animal is in too much pain then Charles will suggest ye do the humane thing and put it out of it’s misery.
He knows you love your horse and he knows that you don’t want your horse to suffer. Of course if your horse can be saved by a reviver then Charles will opt for that instead.
Either way, Charles helps you through the pain and makes sure both you and your horse take it easy for the next few days.
Dutch
Dutch is opportunistic. Yeah, he’s sad that this has happened to your horse but he also sees this as his chance to prove to you that he cares about you.
He promises you that your horse will be back to full health within a week or two. Did Dutch threaten Kieran and every stable hand in the nearest town that your horse better be fine or else he’ll get the gelding tongs? Why yes, yes he did but he’s done that because he loves you.
When you get upset about it, Dutch holds you close to him and gently soothes you with plenty of kisses and cuddles.
Micah
A part of Micah is convinced it’s stupid to get attached to a horse and cry when it gets hurt. Horse’s get hurt all the time, especially when the gang is constantly in shootouts.
But when he thinks about how he would react if Baylock got hurt, Micah understand why you’re so upset. He’s hesitant to give you his sympathies, mainly because he doesn’t want to look like he cares too much but it breaks his cold, dark heart to see you sad.
He’s blunt and will tell you if he thinks the horse won’t make it. Afterwards, Micah offers to give you a ride into town, get a new horse and buy you a drink in the saloon.
John
John has no idea what to do. At first, he can’t even figure out what’s wrong with the horse. In a panic, John got his horse reviver and jabbed your horse with it. He wasn’t too sure if it would work but he was secretly praying to whatever God there is that everything will hopefully work.
John knows that everyone reacts different in times of crisis so he doesn’t push you to talk about your horse. But if he notices you’re not sleeping enough or anything like that then he steps in immediately.
He helps you look after your horse. If it’s late at night then John suggests he takes care of your horse for the night while you go and get some sleep.
Javier
Javier won’t leave your side. He knows how scary it is when you think you’re about to lose something you love. He assures you that everything will somehow work out.
He practically insists you take the next few days off and relax. You’ve been through an intense and stressful day so you need rest. Javier understands that you’ll want to take care of your horse and Javier hopes you understand that he wants to take care of you.
If the worst happens and your horse doesn’t make it then Javier will to take you out looking for a new horse to tame.
Bill
Bill’s a simple man. If he sees an injured horse then he’ll take out his revolver and aim. You’re gonna have to stop him pretty fast and make sure he understands that pulling the trigger isn’t always the answer.
Bill feels guilty for thinking of doing that first, especially when he sees how upset you are. He’s heartbroken to see you like this and he wants to take away all the fear and anxiety you’re feeling but he doesn’t know how.
He’s there for you through it all. If you need anything day or night, Bill tries his best to get it for you.
Sean
If you cry, Sean cries too. He gives you plenty of hugs and encourages you to let out all of your emotions. It’ll only be worse if you bottle it all up.
He has no problem if you want to use Ennis while your horse is recovering. Hell, if you need to ride something then Sean will suggest himself *wink wink*.
Sean promises you that he’ll do everything he can to help your horse. To help make you feel better, Sean tells you some stories of when Ennis got hurt or of when he accidentally fell off of Ennis when he was drunk.
Voldemort is just way too hot. I have a huge crush on him. And no, I am not talking about younger Tom Riddle but post resurrection Voldemort. I find his majestically tall and lean body, the powerful look his bald head gives him, his exotic chalk white skin, and his flat nose very, very attractive. The power, coldness, and confidence he oozes is so sexy and I have never seen any man sexier than when he was stroking his body in Goblet of Fire. God, he makes me so weak in the knees. I love him.
