i kind of think csevet never really reaches any significant amount of fame. personal secretary definitely can be a prestigious position (cf. the implication setheris was angling for that) but i think the appeal is more in the close influence on and ability to act under the authority of your employer—and precisely because of that, very little csevet does is really in his own name.
people at court know him as mer aisava the emperor's secretary, more of a nuisance (or a helpful sidekick, depending on point of view) running around doing edrehasivar's bidding than his own distinct presence. i think outside of court, and people who are directly interacting with maia/his household, he's pretty much entirely unknown.
and in that mind that extends to his legacy, too. there are records of employment in the alcethmeret, and minutes of meetings where he was present; perhaps some of his own writing whether it be schedules or notes or a diary etc. become important primary sources for the history of edrehasivar's reign. but the man himself is largely an enigma; his name never shows up in a mainstream history book without being clarified with his job title.
eventually, perhaps, someone whose specialty is this period will write a biography, full of gaps and 'might be's and plausible reconstructions of a man who was never really known as anything other than the hand writing down someone else's story.
which of course is exactly how csevet would want it to be. helpful, useful, unassuming csevet, loyal servant of the emperor, and certainly not someone anybody needs to worry about, or spend too long thinking of.
