The rain world fandom has a racism problem (Scavengers and Artificer), a fatphobia problem (Gourmand) and a misogyny problem (Monk, Artificer and Gourmand).
I would also like to say that despite being the only slugcat with actual pronouns used IN GAME I have never heard a person in this fandom call Spearmaster by they/it.
Moon is also a victim of misogyny and Pebbles and sometimes the vanilla siblings suffer from being infantilized, and the characterization of Rivulet as Moon's hyperactive child can easily come off against ableism againt people with ADHD, and who knows what else I'm forgetting... man. These issues deserve to be discussed more than they are, which is almost zero.
I know the fandom doesn't do it on purpose, okay? I know. But please, next time that you want to make up your big lore post on all the ways scavenger society is terrible and oppreses slugcats or your comic where Moon's only role is to be a nice loving big sister to her angsty little brother Pebbles... consider why you're doing that in the first place, why do you think it should be like this. Please and thank you.
Oh and on the topic of slugcat gender, Spearmaster's one of two that have pronouns:

Andrew: Rivulet starts out with The Mark, but I don't view them as necessarilly having been raised or trained
as a messenger by an iterator similarly to Hunter or Spearmaster. They've made contact with one for sure, though.

and I imagine they've gotten into all sorts of wacky adventures even prior to the start of their campaign.
Isn't it funny how she/her for Artificer is the only part taken as irrefutable proof and the rest is ignored? I find it hilarious!
