Question: what movie does jiara’s kid(s) watch over and over and over again and it drives them crazy but also becomes like an inside joke where they quote it to each other at random times lol?
Okay so when I first got this I was just like - oh it’ll probably be some shitty kids movie they make in 10/20 years that they get obsessed with.
But then I started to think and like, I headcanon the pogues having this massive collection of old/obscure/bad movies on DVD and even vhs because their wasn’t streaming readily available at the chateau. So they’d just pick up what ever they could find a pawn shops and garage sales (John B is the king of garage sales and always buys the tackiest thing there, fight me)
So when they kids are young they sort of start watching them because the novelty of physical movies and then they find one that they just fixate on. Which one? I’m not sure.
I could totally see jiara’s kids be like those kids that are obsessed with Michael Myres. So some sort of horror movies maybe, final destination possibly? Where does Kie step in with the violence? Even a cult classic like CHUD, to take after their daddy.
But I could also see it being something so dumb, like Edward Scissor Hands or Zoolander.
Or even just some random 00s teen movie like freaky Friday or Aquamarine or Sleepover
Actually. Baz Luhrmanns Romeo and Juliet. They don’t understand a word of it but they find it so funny and they just quote lines randomly even if they don’t know what it means. JJ and Kie are very confused by it all but without even realising they find themselves quoting Romeo and Juliet to each other all the time leaving the other pogues to be like ???
