The Long Way Back
Meant to fill in the blanks in season 2, episode--whatever episode it was that Rose got the info from the party...because there's no way after that kiss that they didn't sleep together, RIGHT?!? So I'm filling in the blanks.
“You did it,” Peter says, lightly biting his bottom lip to keep from saying the rest of the words that want to follow. You’re amazing. You make me want to choose a different life. I love you.
Rose smiles up at him, palms flat on his chest, eyes twinkling with triumph. He’d spent the last ten months building this wall between them. The distance, the mission, the loss of Alice: bricks he’d laid methodically over each other, reason after reason why he had to stay away from her.
And yet she was here and his resolve--the one that let him throw his sim card into that planter filled with water ten months earlier, that kept him from picking up the phone and dialing a number he had memorized, was fading. Oh, who was he kidding? That wall was gone--a wrecking ball crashed into it when his eyes met hers in that alley the night she found him in New York.
He was never great at making rational choices when it came to Rose.

We're getting Rose Larkin back in The Night Agent's final season, and that's exactly what we could've hoped for.
In the end, we’re getting what we want. Or at least I hope that’s the case. Deadline has officially confirmed that Luciane Buchanan will return in the fourth and final season of The Night Agent. While we have very little information on how she’ll return and for how many episodes, the decision hopefully means that we’ll get our Peter and Rose endgame.
