After James and Regulus got married, Regulus decided to take James' surname. Not because he hated his own (he did), but because of the looks on Effie and Monty's faces when he first brought up the fact that he might want to become a Potter in name too. Monty absolutely cried and Effie's smile was blinding.

But one; it's not only for romantic partners,

and two; it is not exclusive to only the one person.

Let me tell a fuckin' story. I have these two friends, we're almost always together since we all are in the same classes. And let me tell you, they do not have to speak, nor do they even have to be in the same vicinity as myself. I could be back in my hometown and they to theirs and we sense each other.

I will not be okay for one second, and the next, I will receive a text from one or both saying "Hey, what's up? I can feel you." and I am the same to them.

It is absolutely bonkers how we do that and we do not understand how or why we are able to do that.

And yes, we say "I can feel you" because we do. Insane, and hella creepy for a while before we got used to it. But it is literally an unexplainable heavy feeling in my chest and I just know who it is.
