Something I also find of note that I feel gets overlooked a lot by the fandom is how casual Gwi-Ma’s physical abuse of Jinu is—like even after the bathhouse fight when Gwi-Ma is pleased with Jinu and (sorta) complimenting him (“I taught you well, Jinu” still mostly praises Gwi-Ma and “Surprisingly, your plan is working” is like, reluctantly impressed), Gwi-Ma still yanks Jinu down to the realm rather roughly, if Jinu’s grunt when he lands is any indication. Unlike the shame Gwi-Ma consciously inflicts on his demons, he doesn’t even draw much attention to the fact that he can drag and yank them around, it’s more of almost subconscious for him. Idk if that made any sense lol. I could be way off hahaha
It's true. I think... Gwi-Ma goes about his abuse in a fairly casual, conversational way, whether it's physical or emotional or whatever--he always acts like it's a natural fact of life because he wants his demons to believe it's a natural fact of life. By just constantly throwing in little barbs like the ones you mentioned, Gwi-Ma sets the tone for the dynamic between the two of them. Just like a constant drip, drip, drip of undercutting whatever Jinu's done to wear him down.
I imagine the physical abuse, especially, is something that Gwi-Ma wants demons to expect as "natural" and just a fact of their existence because so much of it is meant as a reminder that he owns their soul. He couldn't do anything to them if he didn't own their soul. He wants them to stay aware of the fact that Gwi-Ma has control over their souls (and by extension their bodies), because if they start to believe that they can escape Gwi-Ma's control, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy--like what happens with Jinu in the end. And Gwi-Ma can't have that.

Honestly, in a KPDH sequel or TV series or whatever I hope Jinu does come back as Rumi's sword. Not just because I want to see more to his story and for him to give off exposition, but also because I feel like he got off too easily. I want Zoemira to yell at him and "throw furniture at "beat" him for all he did against Rumi and them (creating a demon boy band to take down the Honmoon, breaking the band up through the Takedown incident and the consequential PR nightmare that ensued, stealing Rumi from them, etc., etc.)
Rumi leaves the living room after introducing Zoey and Mira to sword!Jinu to get the new pets and next time she comes in the living room is trashed from the furniture and other crap Zoemira threw at Jinu. The walls are dented where they hit him. Zoey is hurting her feet stomping on the sword and Mira is coming over with a meat tenderizer.
Also I think he should lose his human form in favor of just being Rumi's sword with eyes. He should only have the human design in flashbacks.
(THIS IS MORE OF A POLYTRIX POST THAN A RUJINU POST BTW IF YOU COULDN'T TELL I'M SORRY RUJINU FANS)
This post is going to be pretty long so I’m going to break it into sections. Part 1 will be a basic explanation of human dentition. Part 2 will be about what fangs each Saja Boy is shown to have and when they’re visible.
I don’t know what the formalities are for citing screenshots, but most of these instances were from screenshots I was able to find here on Tumblr, a few were simply googled, and several notes were from my own rewatches after going down this rabbit hole. Lots of screenshots from the movie are pretty crunchy so it’s kind of hard to see things.
But to be fair, who else is watching the movie and looking at the dentition?
If y’all would like me to share the screenshots I used for reference let me know and I’ll make a post about my references. I think I referenced 14 different Tumblr posts for this. Worth noting that this is the short version of many, many, many notes I took, not all of them made it here, but during my rewatches I also captured timestamps and more notes than I could reasonably fit in this post.
Part 1 - Basic Human Dentition
Humans have 32 teeth, not counting wisdom teeth. There are a ton of terms used for dentition (and osteology in general) but in an effort to make this simple I won’t use them unless it’s necessary. Humans have 4 types of teeth:
Incisors - 4 upper and 4 lower
Canines - 2 upper and 2 lower
Premolars - 4 upper and 4 lower
Molars - 4 upper and 4 lower (though some people may have more - these extra are called wisdom teeth)
Starting at the midline at the front of the mouth humans have this pattern on each side of the jaw: 2 incisors, 1 canine, 2 premolars, 2 molars.
Teeth are numbered by the type of tooth and how close they are to the midline at the front of the mouth. Usually 1 is closest to the midline and 2 is farther, but for premolars, the closest to the midline is 3, and the farther one is 4.
For simplicity, since the fangs are symmetrical I will not specify sides. I will use ‘upper’ or ‘lower’ to indicate the jaw rather than ‘maxillary’ and ‘mandibular’ since it’s easier to follow. Labeling a tooth in this post will look like “Upper I2” for the upper second incisor or “Lower P4” for the lower fourth premolar.
In a lot of media the fangs are the canines, but the Saja Boys (and some other demons in the movie) seem to have their third premolars as the fanged ones. It’s worth noting that only the demons that are the same type as the Saja Boys and the water demons have humanlike dentition.
A way to distinguish this is that fangs on the canines have 4 teeth between them, fangs on the premolars have 6 or 8 teeth between them. Distinguishing where one tooth ends and another begins in screenshots can be somewhat difficult so I may be wrong about these, but I also used where the fangs are placed in the mouth to help me determine it as well.
Part 2 - The Saja Boys Fangs
Looking at teeth is difficult, these are my best guesses, but I may very well be wrong.
Abby
Abby is shown to have what appears to be Upper P3 fangs.
Here are the instances that I could find:
-On the billboard that flashes the Saja Boys demon forms after the Idol Awards
-During the performance of Your Idol
-During his fight with Mira after Your Idol
Baby
Baby was the hardest to find any source of his fangs being visible that was clear enough to see. It seems that he likely has Upper P3 fangs, but they could also be on his canines.
The only instance I could find of him having fangs was during his iconic pose in Your Idol.
Jinu
This section will be the longest, interestingly Jinu seems to show his fangs much more than the other Saja Boys. He has Upper P3 fangs. Also worth noting is that I don’t believe he has fangs during Free, even when he looks at the reflection of himself with the yellow eyes.
Here are the instances that I could find:
-During Jinu’s Lament
-When the Saja Boys grin at Huntrix in the ball pit on the variety show
-During his fight with Rumi at the bathhouse
-When talking to Gwi Ma after being summoned after the bathhouse fight
-When he talks to Rumi after her Idol Awards performance
-On the billboard that flashes the Saja Boys demon forms after the Idol Awards
-During the performance of Your Idol
Romance
Romance is the most confusing. Most of my notes are on instances when he should have fangs but he doesn’t, such as during his closeup in the performance of Your Idol and when he bites at Mira during their fight after Your Idol. It’s possible he has fangs that are just deeper in his mouth or very small and can’t really be seen during these moments, but he does seem to have fangs during Your Idol and part of his fight with Mira, like when he slashes at her.
Mystery
Mystery is the most interesting in my opinion. Obviously, he is the only Saja Boy shown to have tusks, which seem to be Upper P3, and these tusks are only seen once. There are also a few other oddities. Not only is he the only Saja Boy to have visible lower fangs, but they appear to be Lower P4. During the fansign scene when he barks at a fan his lower fangs are visible, and his upper tusks are fangs in the P3 location where his tusks were.

-During the fansign when he barks at a fan
-During the performance of Your Idol

My flaming hot take today is that Jinu would be a Polytrix shipper. He’d think Rumi deserves much better than him, it’s clear that Mira and Zoey absolutely adore her, and he thinks that they wouldn’t burden her with their problems the way he would. If Polytrix happened, despite his genuine feelings for Rumi, he wouldn’t be clingy, manipulative, and jealous, trying to get Rumi to pick him, he’d be relieved and thinking that Mira and Zoey are way better for Rumi than him.
Ok so there have been challenge weeks for Romabby, AbbyJinu and BabyJinu. As far as I know there haven't been ones for other ships or a general polysaja one ((unless I missed them))
I hope this keeps going, it's so fun to see everyone's art and fics!!!
Part of me wants to plan something, but I'm worried that I'm not the person for this, as I've never hosted anything similar. ((I also only use Tumblr so it wouldn't be cross platform like other ones))

The couch in front of the window is the most contested piece of furniture in the apartment. It was the first piece brought into their temporary home. Generously liberated from a used goods store by the combined efforts of Baby and Abby it had been given a place of honor: a spot in the living room that received sunlight for most of the day. It isn’t pretty by any stretch of the imagination. Upholstered in cream colored fabric marked with faded outdated floral print and a couple mystery stains it doesn’t match anything else in the room. (Not that there is much of a theme to the rest of the room, unless “stolen” counts as a theme.) But looks aren’t everything. The previous owners had it well broken in. The cushions are a bit lumpy but comfortable, and any scratchiness in the fabric has been worn soft. It is perfect for burrowing down in.
Which means that it is the perfect trap.
Jinu knows better. There are too many things that he needs to get done. There are lyrics that need tweaking, PR packets that need reviewing, social media posts that need posting. But he can’t resist the pull of the couch when he crosses through the living room and finds it empty. What a rarity; normally it is crammed with two or more of the other Boys bickering over who is encroaching on whose space. The others are elsewhere at the moment. Baby is holed up in his room, Mystery and Romance are out scouting, and Abby is – somewhere. The group’s lead dancer had been gone when Jinu left his room earlier. Either way, the much coveted couch is empty. He can spare a few minutes, right? He has been going a mile a minute since he woke up this morning…
Oh, what a fool he is.
The midday sun has heated the couch to a pleasantly toasty warmth. Warmth that seeps into his body and coaxes him to sink further into the plush cushions. The three minutes he allots himself to sit come and go in the blink of an eye. The responsible side of him starts to prickle when he makes no move to get up. He’s wasting time when he doesn’t have time to waste. A beast of a To-Do list shrieks his name and demands attention. Two more minutes pass and he sighs, tilting his head back to stare up at the ceiling. He should get up. Dilly dallying like this won’t magically make his task list shorter.
After a long moment of consideration he flops over and stretches out across the full length of the couch instead. The reminder of his workload’s size has brought its weight crashing down, and the coffee he’d made earlier is too weak to counteract it. Gwi-Ma’s sneering voice rises to fill his ears with disparaging remarks but he is use to the whispers and tunes them out. Tired and soothed by the sun’s warmth he drifts off into a nap he will never admit to needing.
Jinu is still sleeping there when Abby returns home.
At first Abby is disappointed. He had been looking forward to basking on the couch, had even planned his return time to align with peak basking hours. His disappointment is short lived in the face of how rare this is. He has seen Jinu use the couch all of twice since they moved into the apartment, and Jinu never sleeps out in the open. In all the years that he has known him, the Saja Boys leader has been cautious about his sleeping habits. Burning his candle at both ends must have finally gotten to him. It figures that it would happen on a day when Abby was counting on the apartment being empty so he could have the couch to himself.
Whatever. It’s not like he hasn’t muscled his way in on occupied territory before. Besides, the couch wouldn’t even be here if not for him. And Baby, he supposes.
Kicking off his shoes by the door he prowls down the short entryway and into the living room. His steps are almost silent as he weaves his way through the maze of mismatched chairs, lamps and coffee table that fills the space. Reaching the couch he crouches beside it. Jinu frowns in his sleep and Abby freezes until his expression evens again. Lips curving into a half smirk he places his hands on the cushions and lifts himself up, carefully preparing to make his move. A low, menacing growl starts deep in Jinu’s chest: a warning that he is aware of someone being in his space and does not appreciate it. Abby grins.
Aww, someone is feeling cranky. Cute.
Before Jinu can fully wake to make good on his half conscious threat Abby pounces. Throwing himself on top of his so-called leader he pins him down and deftly swats away the claws that try to swipe at him, chuckling all the while.
“Dammit, Abby! Get off of me!” Jinu snarls, attempting to wriggle free.
“Hmm. Nope.” Abby leverages his greater weight to keep the other where he wants him. Jinu continues to struggle for another couple of minutes before he surrenders with a loud huff. Satisfied with his victory Abby sets about making himself comfortable, snaking his arms around his grumbling body pillow and tucking his face into the curve of his neck. “Ah, just like old times.”
“Yeah, yeah.” Jinu mumbles another complaint under his breath before settling into a position that accommodates the weight holding him in place. It has been… a while since Abby last got the literal drop on him. His annoyance fizzles out as the familiar contact and sense of security lull him back towards slumber. Abby has his back. He can lower his defenses - a little.
He is almost asleep again when the rumbling of Abby’s purr begins to vibrate against his ribs. The ghost of a smile flits across his face as he nuzzles into the cushion beneath his cheek, his own purr answering in kind even as he slips into a dreamless rest.
I know my account centers queer ships, particularly polyamorous ones, I wanted to highlight the fan content I've made regarding a different part of the LBGTQ+ community!
Aromanticism!
It's a somewhat common headcanon for Baby Saja to be aromantic, asexual, or aroace. In this vein I've written a few things regarding those labels that I wanted to share:
This oneshot for BabyJinu week in February.
Though Baby doesn't use any labels, the conversation that he and Jinu have is about Baby being aromantic, specifically greyaro and arospike, and what that means for their relationship.
When writing a character of a small part of the LBGTQ+ community, it can be quite daunting, as that may be someone's first or even their only experience with a particular term.
While there are a few edits I would make to the flow of the writing style, I think this is one of my best pieces of writing, and the most personally important. Please check it out if you haven't, and even if BabyJinu isn't your thing. It would mean a lot to me.

This post had taken me a long time to make, I had originally planned for it to come out close to the fic described above, but I spent a lot of time researching labels and trying to make sure I described the meanings as accurately as possible.
It's not that much but it's a small community that means a lot to me.
