Tonight’s Fair Game HC was inspired by @shana340artblog‘s awesome depiction of a sleeveless Qrow! Seriously, it’s cool, sexy, fun, colorful, and chock full of Qrow’s personality!

So, how am I gonna HC this masterpiece?

Here’s what I’m thinking: Clover’s gonna accompany the group to Vacuo.

However, just cause he’s in the group, it doesn’t mean he’s on board with everything they’ve got in mind.

That concepts rears its ugly head when the kids develop a plan, one they need Clover for. Perhaps they need his military expertise or for him to pose as a guard or a flunkie so the kids can do whatever it is that they need to do.

Either way, Clover’s not on board. It makes him super uncomfortable, embarrassed, skeptical, and the whole thing feels utterly ridiculous. In no uncertain terms, he apologizes, but says he’s not going to go along with this scheme (Mind you, this is all framed in a funny way). He goes off into another room in the place they’re residing to try to think up another plan.

Ruby goes to moan to Qrow about how Clover’s being (her words, not mine) “a butt head.” Qrow asks for more info and Ruby breaks down her plan and Clover’s reluctance. 

Once she’s done explaining, Qrow smirks. 

“I think I have a way to get through to him.”
