i'm not going to seriously analyze this. like, no offence but i don't particularly care right now and there's probably better people than me to ask. but if i had to point out one notable thing, it's that it's definition of transmisogyny is very flawed. amd unfortunately with all the systemic prejudice in our current world, if you don't accurately understand an axis of oppression then you're not actually effectively countering it. it's even worse when you spread that bad definition as truth to other people.

it just really sticks out to me that they said it like "transmisogyny is the form of oppression against transfems (or anyone seen as such)." it's that last bit that ruins it. transfeminists clearly defined it as the combined force of transphobia and misogyny used to specifically victimize and oppress transfem people (paraphrasing) (i know whipping girl also included cis drag queens in it but a lot of transfeminists take issue with that).

like, when you ask someone to define racism, they don't say "the force of oppression against poc (and anyone perceived as such)." same with defining homophobia, intersexism, classism, etc. why did the author include that little clause for the definition of transmisogyny then? it feels gross to imply that being seen as one of us makes you as much of a victim as us.

bonus round: the author treats misandry as a valid axis of oppression which minimizes the actual ways women are oppressed ("oh maybe the author is just being impartial" they didn't have a problem calling out when other words were stupid)
