I see Pan in the huckleberry bushes that dot the slopes of the cascades, his cloven faun feet dancing and scrambling to get to them

I see Pan at the breweries in the PNW, sipping on hard cider and flirting with a lumberjack, or some other mountain man

I see Pan in myself as I go on my hikes, ceasing for just a moment to see if I can hear his flute carried on the wind

I see Pan in the creek water, trickling down a mountain stream and emptying into a seasonal lake of snowmelt
