Just saw somebody refer to the Pope as "the final boss of the catholic church", and someone else replying "I like the way you're implying that you'd first have to fight every single catholic on the planet before you get to fight the pope."

And I'm not sticking my spoon in there, but isn't that... Pretty much how it works? Like sure there are outliers, but I think it's safe to say that if you announced "I'm going to fight the pope", most catholics would reply with "absolutely fucking not" and would fight you first. One does not simply walk into the Vatican with full intentions to throw down with the pope without having to fight through like at least 5 levels of catholic security first.
