CHARITY ART RAFFLE TO HELP GERMAN FLOOD VICTIMS

To honour Benedict Cumberbatch’s birthday on Monday, 19th July, and to encourage donations to help the victims of the catastrophic floods that have recently hit parts of Germany, I’m doing an ART RAFFLE. I will give away these three original pencil and coloured pencil drawings (two of Benedict and one of Smaug).

Every donation of 5 Euros counts as one raffle ticket. So if you donate 5 Euros, you get one ticket, if you donate 10 Euros, you get two tickets etc. Proof of donation must be shown to me via DM or in the replies/reblogs/retweets of this post by Monday, 19th July, 23h GMT. You may of course black out personal information in the donation proofs. Then the random number generator will choose the THREE WINNERS.

First person chosen gets first pick of the art, second winner second pick, and third winner will get the art that’s left. Shipping is on me. You must be comfortable with giving me your postal address.

Cabin Fever - Episode 1: Fitton

So apparently loads of people had no idea this existed (at least not on Twitter) so I’ll drop it here again.

First, one ALWAYS needs some Arthur to brighten the day.

Second: for the Good Omens folks who wanna know who that John Finnemore is!

THIS is he: coming up with 26(!!!) weekly episodes during that first, scary, unprecedented Lockdown back in March 2020 - writing and making these litte gems that made things a bit easier, made us laugh during time we didn’t feel like it, and helped us through some very tough times!

So yeah, go and check out his things (there’s loads more he did, but this was something that apparently flew very under the radar so hopefully it can once again help and make you laugh and get to know the talented man who’s going to fulfill Sir Terry’s dream of Good Omens 2!)

I want to mourn her and celebrate her and thank her for everything that she did, all the decisions that she made that helped me grow up in an America where I was safe to pursue all the things I wanted. 

Instead the first emotion I felt wasn’t sadness, or humility, or solemnity. It was fear. Chill down the spine, tears in the eyes, heart racing, muscle clenching fear.
