I'd love a staging where she's cleaned up fairly quickly. She's stitched, she's washed up, she's wearing fresh clothes with long sleeves to cover her stubs and her mouth stays closed and free of bleeding—and the rest of the cast still treat her as just as horrifying of a sight. Gruesome, too sad to look at. They point at her, who for all intents and purposes looks like a regular young woman with long sleeves, and shriek of how harrowing a sight she is.
