Hi, I have been known to dabble in horse figurines, and while I don't collect those particular figures (too big, too expensive), I can tell you that they're usually called Delft figurines (after the Dutch porcelain company of the same name, though most countries have at least one company producing similar figures). If you wanna look them up on resale sites "delft blue" is the search term you wanna use.

The Oracle Dragon only shows itself on cloudless nights. It streams through the cosmos breathing out new stars that reveal the impending future. For Auction on my Ebay Ends Wednesday May 22nd at 8pm CST This Room Guardian stands about 13 inches tall and stretches out to 27inches from nose to tail. It has an amethyst crystal heart with a coat of high quality velvety faux fur that is super soft. The underbelly features iridescent individually cut, and sewn schutes. The body is fully poseable with a plastic ball and socket armature as the neck, thighs, and spine that will not wear out over time, and a wire armature in the forelegs. The head and front feet are the original polymer clay sculpt but the back legs, and ears are all casted in resin for durability. The ears are ball jointed and fully poseable and the whiskers are coated wires that can also be posed. The horns and spines are hand sculpted from durable plastic with glow in the dark tips. Hi absolutely love the pants you made they’re so stunning! I was wondering, since you mentioned that the pattern maker was “incurious” about seams and things and that a beginner sewist might miss out on some stuff, if there is a pattern or resource you might recommend for a beginner pants maker? :) enjoy your lovely pants!

What comes to mind is the blog The Crooked Hem which is written by an extremely precise woman who seems to have sewn about 80% of all existing indie pants patterns. See this post as an example.

I also liked sewing the Jones Trousers, which do mention flat felled seams! They're a zero-waste pattern. I felt it was a pattern that thoughtfully explained its choices and encouraged testing along the way (really minor example, but: "If using heavier weight fabric, grade and trim the seam allowance" vs "Grade waistband seam as needed" in Cedar instructions).

Unforch I don't particularly like wearing mine, as for one I picked too heavy of a fabric and for the other I did a fit modification that didn't work that well, but maybe someday I'll sew a different pair of pants that is both a fun pattern to execute and a fun wardrobe addition.

And of course there is no substitute for just noodling around!!!
