I'm proud of you so much, and there's so much about you I could say.

but I can't help but quietly simmer of the regrets I have. how much I wish I had been the person I am now to be able to not take what I had for granted. how much I wish I never hurt you in the ways I did, for my mind to be right and to be able to respect you how I should of.

I am in a different place with a different person, you're in a different place with a different person.

but I can't help but be filled with regret when I see you and remember all the wrong I did and how much I wish I could of done right.

I wish I had been different, I wish I had done different, and truthfully if there's any one regret I have in life it's how we played out.

but I'm happy, so happy you're happy. I am so relieved how far you've grown, how much better you're doing.
