HI! Sorry, this isn't the usual for me, and I know I haven't been entirely active here, but I'd like to bring awareness to a user that has caused my mutuals - and artists before that - grief.

For the sake of artists, I'm not going to be stating names. If they wish to speak up for themselves (if any of them ever find these posts), they can bring it out themselves.

There IS a call out on Twitter, so if you want to see more takes on the situation, @PpuZZlevisi0n (Otherwise known as GGY) does have a thread put together right here. I'm certain they have more screenshots outside of my own.

Doppio the Harpy. While, I haven't known her for too long, and I'm glad that she supports artists the way she does, she isn't the greatest outside of that. Me and four other creators have tried getting across to her how her actions have impacted people (like mentioned priorly, GGY being one of them), yet she's still just hiding behind her own mental health and disabilities rather than taking proper accountability.

I will be doing this in the order of what I seen, heard and figured out.

RACISM:

There is more than one example, but one that she had personally told me, and eventually a mutual of mine on a VC, stands out more greatly amongst the following few examples after that.

While, it's not my experience, and I'm certain there were more levels to this, it's more to do with how she DOWNPLAYED a poc artists reaction, as if I were going to agree with her points.

Basically, from my understanding, is that she 'shared an inside joke' and 'nickname' publically on a VC call with the artist, and I believe more. Said joke would just so happen to sound similar to the n word, hard r, but with the letter n swapped out with a j. (This holds the implication of ANOTHER racial slur playing into the word, both slurs specifically directed towards black people)

I didn't know the joke by then, but I continued on talking with her skeptically, for the sake of my commission. It wasn't until me and a mutual were on VC with her that she told us, both the word, and the context of the joke.

When she first told me, she said it was a 'borderline' racist joke as a defense (as seen in this screenshot here)

FIRST of all, the way she downplays their reaction is fucking horrendous.

She continued to call it 'annoying' how they reacted, as if they didn't have the right to get pissed off at the joke itself. Her second defense was cause 'it's the internet.'

Calling them 'pissy' as well? That's outrageous, that might just be me.

Let's be honest, you cannot be THIS aware about the implications of the joke and blame the internet. If you're AWARE of how shitty the internet is, and still choose to indulge in the bad, you're no better than those who sling those words around regularly.

Secondly, when we called her out for this behavior, that would be the ONLY point she carries throughout the duration of us trying to get this through her head. The racism is not the ONLY problem here, yet she labelled it as the only thing she's done.

I think, seeing as she IS a white woman, she was panicking more due to the fact that she consciously understood the wrong of what she said. Panicking cus of how this made her look. I do not believe she feels bad if she's constantly hiding behind the fact that it was an 'inside joke,' and the fact it is 'the internet.'

Just because this is the internet does NOT justify what you've said, or what you've done. If it's an inside joke? Keep it amongst you and your friend. You shouldn't be saying it regardless, but for the sake of every person you may meet, just keep it amongst yourselves.

You cannot shift the blame, you cannot hide behind concepts and shit. That's YOUR fault, take accountability.

I would like to add, she probably ONLY thought it was okay to share with me because I'm not on speaking terms with the artist, and thinking 'Oh, they might have a bias because of this fact and might agree with me!' FUCK OFF? GENUINELY? If it were anything else, I wouldn't have cared less, but the fact you're downplaying racism is mind boggling to me.

The lesser situations is calling herself more of a minority than anyone else in the artist server we have, purely because she has diabetes, and MENTAL ILLNESS... Keep in mind, the lot of us are mixed, poc individuals.

First, it's not a competition. I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you do have diabetes, and I'm not sure if anyone else does in that group, but that does NOT put you above everyone else.

Second, MOST OF US ARE NEURODIVERGENT. You having depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, it doesn't DEVIATE you from the group, it does not place you higher than us... Why is THAT a point you're making?

It's clear she's either never sat in a history class, or she's just too ignorant to understand how heavy racism is as a whole. She should be more aware.

SELF-DEPRECIATION:

I understand, we all have certain times where we feel like shit. I understand having a bad day, week, maybe month, I am quite guilty myself in terms of venting, so this might be the facepalm section of this entire rant. But, saying terrible shit EVERY FUCKING DAY OF EVERY WEEK, REGARDLESS OF WHERE, It's INSUFFERABLE.

She would constantly talk about hating herself on VC, constantly talk about how her life is 'spiralling,' constantly talking about her health as if it's anyone elses problem, or like any of us can actually do anything about it. It's not bad to tall about, but in general? Butting into conversations just to talk about how you hate yourself? NOBODY NEEDS TO HEAR ABOUT THAT.

There are MINORS who shouldn't have to deal with that (which we will go into later), everyones got shit going on for them, not everything is about YOU. Keep that to your close friends, keep that to anyone who will listen (THAT ISN'T A FUCKING MINOR. It is easier to manipulate and guilt a minor into this kind of shit. You're turning 18 soon, this needs to be NOTED.)

Not only do we have the fact she does this out of NOWHERE, we have said several times before in calls AND in text that she shouldn't be talking about this shit in a public space. You are pushing boundaries by pulling this shit, you made people uncomfortable when we were trying to have a nice time.

Telling us that it's 'your humor' as a defense is so weak. Just cause it's YOUR humor, doesn't mean anyone else is going to enjoy it. It makes people UNCOMFORTABLE.

Again, this isn't my experience, and for the comfort of the person who experienced this shit towards them.

Wanting to be recognized, to be famous, that's not a problem at all. I'm certain many people enjoy the idea of your art and/or characters getting out there, but recognition comes with chance. It's up to probability.

You should NOT talk to a famous artist like they have the answer to fame, because like most creators, it is ALL up to luck, ALL up to probability. Utilizing their following and guilting them into feeling bad for you because YOU don't have that is inconsiderate.

Instead of making them feel bad by going "Oh, why do you have this but I don't?" It's self centred, it's rude. You don't know how this makes the creator feel, cus obviously, all you saw in them was fame.

The person they'd push their emotions onto not only put up with her constant guilt tripping, blinded by envy, but also her spontaneous venting. The fact that they are a MINOR as well, you should KNOW better.

As an addition, she would pressure said artist into making art of her OC's, or asking them to play messenger pigeon so that other artists can recognize them. That's not how this WORKS. You're not gonna get famous off one post, not all your fans are going to interact with each post.

You wanted to use the excuse of how the internet isn't butterflies and rainbows? THIS applies to those words. You won't get INSTANT recognition. Be GRATEFUL. You cannot surround yourself with big artists and expect something out of them, that's not FAIR.

She usually pushed her OC's onto everyone in the server, which I get it, it's super fun getting to talk about your ideas, your characters, but it gets to the point where you are pushy. You have made people dislike your character cus of how much you pushed it onto them.

Let them GRADUALLY attach to the character, it's up to THEM whether they like it.

With the topic of her OCs, the victim got sent suggestive content of Grant in bondage, alongside my commissioned work, when they specifically had stated, after Grant in bond, that she shouldn't be sending that to them. (She went on to spoiler it, by the way... Girl, if they stated prior not to show it, I don't think they'd wanna unspoiler that image to see it again. Put it away.)

STRUGGLING WITH ACCOUNTABILITY:

When GGY, me and Bored tried getting across to her how her actions have effected others, she continuously blamed her mental health and other people.

That's not a just apology, that's just you feeling sorry for yourself and trying to get more people to feel bad for you. Being stressed out doesn't lead you to act like this so publically, being scared of growing up shouldn't push you towards making racist slurs, or saying demeaning words. That's not how this works.

It's hard to find ways to cope, it varies in every person... But she had enough awareness to KNOW what she done wrong, so really, was her random venting really 'humorous' coping? I wouldn't say so. If anything, it sounds more like pleading for attention. (Which she did mention in one of her 'apologies,' claiming she never got the attention... well fucking, cry about it, honestly.)

18 is a scary age, it's stressful to think of, especially if you're just getting out of school... Everyone goes through it, everyones gonna be 18, but that does not help with your case. If you hadn't learnt to look after yourself by then, learn to do so NOW rather than later (I'm still learning, I'm hitting 19 soon, but even then, there are literal 40+ year olds who are still learning).

We shouldn't need more than one person to make you realize you're in the wrong, it shouldn't take over a day for a legitimate apology to come out. Literally just seek help.

CONCLUSION:

I have no clue on if anyone else has anymore experiences with her, but hee behavior was genuinely disgusting, and I feel it would be better to make people aware of that IN CASE they are in contact with her. She is not the greatest to be around for now.
