Supernatural would be better if Dean was a reincarnation of Adam and if Sam a recantation of Eve
(Also, all of this info is sorta useless, my point is at the bottom of you wanna scroll)
They are still - in technicality - the “true” vessels to Lucifer and Micheal, but in a whole new light than the OG “oh it’s your destiny” or wtv
Lucifer managed to sway Eve to eat the apple (which, btw, I could go on for hours about how Eve wasn’t in fault for this) and how Sam was in the future version of early SPN swayed into allowing Lucifer to use him
Micheal and Dean are connected for other than Dean “being” Adam and how Adam is lowkey selfish and stuff (again, I could argue about this for hours but won’t) and how Dean refuses to say no, which lands us in how SPN future/au episode is - the apocalypse with Micheal just using a different vessel and stuff
(I added au episode in this paragraph only bc I don’t actually remember the future episode other than Sam said yes and Dean was … uh … and cas was high)
Now, how does this make SPN cooler for other than that?
Eve was the first woman, created by Adam’s rib (depending on which version of the Bible you read anyway)
Sam relies on Dean in such a way that the second he leaves Dean’s side for more than two years his best friend becomes a demon and Sam’s life goes to shit
Adam was the first man created, “gaining” Eve to complete God’s image of mankind being in image of God (unity and peace and love and wtv else depending on which - again - version you read of Genesis 1-2)
Dean physically cannot live without Sam. The years Sam was in college Dean struggled with John (subtext but not hard subtext to get) and the SECOND Sam died in season 5 (I think?) for the first time, Dean sold his soul
Adam and Eve were created to complete God’s image and Sam and Dean - arguably - do this as well throughout the show in canon. They work well together, they love each other, they literally can’t live without the other, they are THEM and Adam and Eve are literally suppose to represent unity and harmony etc
(This is also why I didn’t like that one episode where they showed Adam with an angel because he and Eve had a “falling out” or wtv the reason was.)
Where does the who thing with God v Team Free Will come in?
God in (Christian) Bible is a forgiving and understanding entity (again depending on how you read/interpret many situations) (also, only using Christian ideals because SPN mainly only uses Christian stuff for the MAIN plot)
SPN could have kept the whole “Chuck is god” if they really wanted to, but they would have changed his character a bit
Sure, let’s keep Chuck as - at first - in his “I’m a prophet actually” for his first couple of appearances
Then let’s bring in heaven/hell getting upset that the apocalypse isn’t happening and their ONE THING they had to do to get wtv the hell the goal was done (it’s been a min since I’ve seen SPN)
Make the main plot throughout the show continuing to be the apocalypse and stuff, but in a way that doesn’t get boring. Like 100% keep many of ideas that is currently canon like the angels falling, leviathans, the tablet thing in season 8, etc etc - because it all eventually will lead to Chuck coming in just like in OG
I’d like to imagine Rapheal never dies in this version of SPN literally only because his death isn’t necessary AND because it could add on some extra complexity of the show - the “last” archangel is desperately trying to get his father to come home
(Side note; all four archangels in this version are literally just trying to do that - that’s their goal (not heaven as a whole, just mainly the archangels. They just want dad home))
Okay so Castiel is still 100% a main character and with Dean and Sam because I love Cas and his character development but also because Castiel is one of - if not THEE - most important character in the entire show if you look at him in a certain context
This is important for the fact that I think that Raphael would be concerned with trying to get Cas to do something to get Dean and Sam to do the apocalypse- but it ends up with them lowkey bonding
Their relationship slowly forms to how heaven used to be before god left - family
Now Raphael is sort of like “okay, I missed this and I miss my family” and slowly begins to trust TFW and (FUCKIN SLOWLY) join TFW
Dean and Sam end up helping Raphael understand humans the same way they helped Cas understand humans and Raphael just completely reforms to a mix of how he was before god left and something new - something a bit more human
At some point, the gang has to go to hell and talk to - specifically Micheal - for an issue that isn’t in canon and needs Micheal’s help/knowledge only he has to fix the said problem
Micheal is FLABBERGASTED that his little brother Raphael is his little brother Raphael again
This cuts to a few episodes where Lucifer and Micheal has scene in the cage where Micheal begins to actually sit down and listen to Lucifer and the two recindle
Lucifer learned the lesson he was casted away for in the first place (again, depending on how you read the Bible or even just how you want SPN to bring this up - the whole thing with Lucifer being jealous of humanity can change SO much depending on a LOT of things)
TFW still finds Gabriel after the whole tournament thingy that happened and - well - uh - Raphael was REALLY flipping mad and uh - well - let’s just say something something powerful archangel is PISSED and a jailbreak happened and Gabriel’s older brothers - yes brotherS - are standing in front of him, mad as FUCK but healing him so maybe it’s okay
Chuck is still needed for -again I don’t remember - and Dean finds him (beats the shit out of him - oh who said that-) and drags his ass to where Gabriel is still recovering
Anyway I think I lost myself while writing all of this because all I wanted to say was Dean should have been Adam (unity) and Sam was Eve (love) and they bring heaven back together as a family
(How does this affect hell?? Uh. Rowena gets a boy toy)
