Words can't describe how much I love riding my bike. I know I've been missing from my crew lately. And no offense to anyone or the way they ride, but I know that when I ride alone I am the only one responsible for my life. I love to ride my ride, those who ride with me know what my ride is like. I don't have to worry about someone crashing in front of me or dying behind me. It's been a devastating season already with the number of lives lost and yeah it's spooked me. Not towards riding itself but towards group rides where it turns into a competition almost. I'm not down with that. Not on the street. This love isn't worth my life or the lives of my friends. There is one person I can ride my ride with and feel completely comfortable, and you know who you are 🙏 Just had so many thoughts lately and had to get this off my chest. Whether in #fitness #business or #personallife, surround yourself with those who will #push you to be better and cheer you on and help you to become successful. I see so many people who continue to surround themselves by so called #friends that hate on them and don't want to see them better themselves but would rather keep them down. Really nice to see my close friends (including myself) from #hififitness all giving up our keys to people last night at my boy's #birthday #celebration after work. I know we all have seen terrible tragedy associated with #drinking and #driving. I'm taking the train back to my car now and I don't like it, but if I hurt someone because I was drinking and driving I don't think I could live with myself. Most of us like to party some on the weekends. If you miss your #Monday #workout you're losing hard. Getting in a good #sweat right away when the week starts helps reset your body and undoing the damage you did on over the weekend indulging in foods you don't normally eat and excessive drinking. Start to my Monday was 25 mins #spinbike intervals, 3 sets of full body hanging #levers, 3 sets of the #humanflag on each side with stretching in between sets. Not too long of a workout but I sweat hard and am drinking a ton of water and eating clean.
