Akane: it’s the idea that doing something so simple as changing your hair manipulates the way others perceive you. Going for a different style or even just framing your face differently can make you seem like a whole different person.

Snake: incredible… to think someone could do all that with only a haircut

Ace: changing… your hair…?

Clover: big deal. I change my hair all the time and I’m still me

Santa: imagine a version of me with white hair and a version of me, in a different timeline, who dyed his hair black

[Written for the Uchikoshi Big Bang 2026] After helping Mira escape from prison to use the Transporter, Sean uses the quantum computer to travel to a different universe in hopes of finding information about the religious fanatic to save the history they’re currently in. However, a mistake causes him to end up in an unexpected location: the ABIS headquarters in Tokyo. Now surrounded by strangers in a place he is unfamiliar with, he has to find as much information as he can on the suspect in this timeline, as well as find a way back to his original history to make sure they can find the religious fanatic on time.

Wordcount: 4116 words (first three chapters)

Content Warnings: Spoilers for both the Zero Escape series and the AI: The Somnium Files series. The fic will also include references to past canon events involving topics like murder, child abuse, and human experimentation, and there will also be a few mildly sexual jokes in the vein of what you'd expect from the AITSF series, but nothing too graphic.
