Go big or go home. How about go big and stay home? 😉 Today has me working from home so the corporate cowboy is tucking in the jeans. Cody James is coming along for the ride and is making the ride that much better. 🤠 Up close, they could use some care and conditioning. Maybe I'll get to that later or maybe I will let them keep their rugged look. Decisions, decisions. 🤔 Here's to all you bootmen having a great day. 👊

Today is a guaranteed two-fer. The corporate cowboy in me is spending the day in vintage Nocona boots. 🤠 Love this pair. Comfortable. Buttery soft leather. 🖤 The evening? It'll be a different pair but not yet sure which. 😈

It turns out this week was another one with unexpected health challenges. I am normally a healthy person but the Universe is kicking my ass this year. 🤕 At least my mental health is holding up. 👊 Tonight, for a distraction, I'm heading to the rodeo with freshly conditioned Trinity River ostrich boots. 🤠 Sadly, the fuzzy beast will not join me, but he doesn't yet know this. You all be well, bootmen.

A wet corporate cowboy at the moment. 🤠 I decided last night that it's going to be a week of Justins. However, the weather this morning caused a change of plans (and outfit). ⛈️ Still, Justin stepped up for the day, rubber soles and all. Today's intended Justins will have to wait until tomorrow. 😉 Stay well, bootmen. 👊

I needed gray today and opted for a not so popular pair of Justin packer boots. While the kiltie is seen in all kinds of boots and shoes, I can see why it might not be a popular addition for some of you to this pair. Maybe I should remove the kilty the next time I wear them? Regardless of the visual, I can guarantee you that for those of you enjoy the creak that leather makes, these have an amazing sound with every step I take. 🩶 That alone will make it a great day. I stand at work most of the day. Comfort matters. Today's Nocona boots satisfy the brief. Comfort with a bit of visual impact. Here's to all you bootmen making the right kind of impact in your world, too. 👊

Some green for the day. Green in the flannel (super chilly this morning) and some green in the Tony Lama boots. I get paid this week so there will be some green in the back account, too. 🤑 Stay booted and well, bootmen. 👊

Starting sockless on this warm Spring morning. Workout complete, and boots will be soon.🏃 However, I know there are at least a few of you who follow me who like a bit of variety. So, you're welcome. 😉 Here's a bit of variety. You all keep living large. 👊

Tumblr notified me that today is the 2-year anniversary of my boot blog. Boots (and so much more) have always mattered to me, and I appreciate the outlet to share my interests (needs?). I've also had the good fortune of interacting with some people here and, in a world that can sometimes be crazy, I still find it nice to connect with genuine people with shared interests even if we never meet in person. So, thank you. 👊 Also, I don't know what the weather was like 2 years ago today but it's definitely warm today. It's a perfect day for shorts and boots. And, appropriately, since I'm in North Carolina, the decision today was to go with these classic (30+ years old) Carolina boots. These are warming up nicely in the heat and they are making for a great day in my world. 🖤 Here's hoping that all of you bootmen are doing well in your world. Happy anniversary! 🥳

Taking big risks on this Wednesday. The least of which might be the boot choice. Heck, it might even be the biggest risk. 🤷‍♂️ I swear I thought these were blue and I knew they had a touch of green but now they definitely seem green with just a touch of blue. Well, not everything is always as it seems, right? 😉 Let's just hope the risk I'm taking of being booted does not come back to bite me in the backside. Stay well, bootmen. 👊
