Art was absolutely NOT a priority this year and I’m glad it wasn’t

Between grieving and all the fun I had I only drew when I really felt I was able and wanted to

So I don’t think I made much improvement but I did let myself take in and admire a lot of art

But I finally am able to use CSP after a decade of using paint tool sai and I’m looking forward to what art I can make using it!

(I realize typing this it’s been a decade since I started drawing digitally wowie)

WELL ITS ART SUMMARY TIME AGAIN honestly my life was so wild (both good and bad) this year art almost felt like it was in the background, or maybe that's because I stopped stressing so much about it finally lmao Tho January was a continuation of the art block I'd been having since last summer and it was so awful it felt like I had forgotten how to draw :/ But something broke through and thankfully it was pretty smooth sailing the whole year. I drew when I wanted to, and didn't if I didn't want to. Very simple. And when I did draw I indulged!!! I drew whatever silly stuff came to mind and didn't care about studies or anatomy!! I found I learned so much more just from wanting my indulgent art to look better in certain areas rather than sitting down to "study." (thanks simon belmont for helping me learn to draw muscles better lol)

MY GOAL WAS TO HAVE FUN THIS YEAR AND I ACCOMPLISHED IT! so anyway next year I wanna keep doing the same. I finally recaptured the joy of art and I'm gonna hold it tight in my hands so no goals :) just keep having fun alright perhaps draw some silly oc comics NJKGN

I had even feared my love for them had faded but considering I did a whole ass bg for this I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT

I wish I had something more coherent and special to say today but all I got is wow can’t believe that “simple” joke story I made is still going DJFKDKG
