I don't want to be mean and I've also posted about this before but like. Omg u guys know you can be sensory seeking in some ways and sensitive in others right? Literally everything is stimuli; every single person on the planet enjoys some and dislikes others, and the main way it's different with autism is just that it's more intense. I literally play roller derby because I like the sensory elements, the skating and the hitting and the ruckus, and I also still get overstimulated from things like loud traffic or being touched unexpectedly. You know, in the same way I like my music loud but I don't like someone screaming in my ear. This is like not a serious problem anyway but I just don't get why I keep seeing this point being made when there is literally no contradiction in suggesting he might have issues with some stimuli in some contexts
