i was just thinking about ilya and david having to build the crib w shane watching on the couch as he’s been instructed not to move and yuna is out running an errand so shane is Supervisor. balancing a lil ginger ale can on his tummy. high strung and uncomfortable as hell, annoyed as the default. and hes just chirping ilya the whole fucking time like baby have you ever even used a screwdriver. you know it’s righty tighty lefty loosey right? ilya that’s the wrong piece. i think you might’ve missed a step. etc etc and ilya’s taking it pretty well like yes my love okay yes until he’s exhausted his patience. and he groans, rolling his eyes like what do you even know about building furniture shane. you hired an interior designer for all of your apartments and shane’s like i didn’t do that because i couldn’t build the furniture, i did that because it was easier than going out and having to decide every little thing! and ilya’s like oh, okay. because you love when other people take control, yes? such a bossy mouth but you love not having to think. i know that very well, sweetheart. and shane is like. simmering. eyes narrowed but half horny about it. and ilya’s raising his eyebrows at shane and grinning like well? anything else? and david’s there like 🧍 boys. please.
